It's not my cup of tea

The theory behind these candle wick holders suggests that these holders should fulfill their objectives. However, my personal experience has been negative. It was difficult to pour liquid wax into my candle jars, which are only 3" in diameter, without slipping the holders around. As a final touch, I put a clothes pin on top of it to hold In my opinion, the wick holders would work better if they were thicker and longer. When these run out, I suppose I will go back to the pencil method unless I discover something else that works better.

The product is not only cheap, but also effective and easily usable

A trick for getting the most out of them. The wick stick should be on the bottom of the base, stick should be pressed firmly against the bottom of the base the wick should be inserted through the hole and held in place with a clothespin to make sure it is perfectly straight and tight. Metal ones are too cumbersome and are much slower, more expensive, and more difficult to use.

Metal is not as good as plastic

I didn't think about them failing to work for larger candles even though they were inexpensive and easy to make. It is also helpful to use clothespins with them in order to secure the wick.
