Ideally it should be a very small hole, just big enough to allow the wick to pass

The L mold fractured, but the candles still came out well

I liked the way the candles turned out, but my large mold snapped when I took the candle out, so I only got to make one. The shipping was a bummer, but I will return and order again in the near future!.
