A YouTuber recommended this letter stamp set to me, and I am pleased with the size and quality of the stamps - the perfect size and quality for letter writing. When stamped, they have a nice bounce to them, and aren't too small for you to hold in your hands. In the photo, you can see that the letters fit within the wide-ruled size paper. Despite the fact that the pictured wood appears lighter in person, it is actually darker in reality. This is why the black letter is too dark to be seen without angling toward the light, as you can see in my photo. As long as you store the letters upside down, as they come packaged, it shouldn't be too hard to tell them apart. Although I find it a bit inconvenient, I don't mind too much that they are hard to read.
Several months ago, I decided to try my hand at pottery and wanted to make pieces where I stamped letters into the clay to create It may take some time for me to figure it out, but so far these stamps create a deep scratch in the clay before the letters are visible. In addition to the small size of the letters, the design is not contemporary, and you must ensure good lighting to see where each letter is located. As the first couple plates were disappointing, I am not sure I will use them.
I really like the wood box, but I have to ask! It is difficult to print the letters because they are so small. In the box inside, the contents are not designed to keep items organized unless all the pieces are in place. Once you pick a letter out of the box, chaos ensues. The rest of your letters or character choices can be difficult as a result. I did get one, at least, that was dark wood tone and the letters for the ID are dark navy blue. When the letters plate of mixed soup is in the middle, I try to pick the p, the d, or the m, but not the As the wood color and letter colors are not in stark contrast, it is difficult to distinguish fine details. In case that wasn't enough, the box was set upside down. Consequently, when you opened the box you would flip up the safe and then it would rip off the top. My world was engulfed in chaos as soon as I opened. It takes a lot of patience if you are patient at all. The only way to do this is if your fingers are free of arthritis. It is important to have eagle sight if you want to see things clearly. When printing on a small surface, be sure to keep the area as small as possible.
If you meet that requirement, then and only then should this product be yours.
Rather than what I expected, I got something else. Wood on the listing shown in the photo is light in color, and the letter you choose is clear to see. As it were, I received a stamp that was almost black and when turned upside down, you couldn't see what the letter was. Not happy at all.
The opening and closing mechanism is not mobile, it is more like a latch. The size is great, but make sure you pay attention to the fastener. I used a gold fine tip Sharpie poster pen to write them on since the dark wood hides the letters, so they are harder to read so this set is more usable for me now. It is important to watch your pressure while stamping. If you press too hard you will show off the edges. While I like the look, if you do not like it, the next time you see this, Be aware that I used the poster marker to provide some details on top, so it did not look like that originally. like the kit, and for the price I'd say it's a great deal and much better than anything I could find in a physical craft store.
This set was mostly intended to be used as a number stamp set, so I purchased it mainly for that reason. There are two problems with the set the black writing blends in too much with the dark wood and doesn't stand out. My coworker painted over the letters, numbers, and symbols with a lighter color so my students could see them more clearly. Upon receiving my stamp set, I discovered that some of the stamps were still glued together and that I had to carefully separate them to prevent the stamp from coming loose. It appears like my students are able to manage the set quite easily, as it looks good from the outside. For the purpose for which they are used, they are small and perfect.
It would be perfect for what I am going to do with these stamps. As well as including number stamps and punctuation stamps, I am glad that they have done this. In my notebooks, I wanted the ability to stamp a few words or a date (instead of stickers, which would bulk up the notebook), and these stamped labels work perfectly for that. There are several sizes of notebooks that I use, and the size of the stamps is appropriate for all of them. In my testing, I did stamp the same image with a regular Avery Carter's black ink stamp pad, and you can clearly see ghosting through the back of the paper (Tomoe River paper), but it doesn't bother me. There are some stamps that are crooked on their wooden blocks, but I believe I will be able to peel them off and use super glue if necessary. There is no negative impact on my ability to stamp or my ability to use There are a couple of wooden boxes inside the box. Each box is about the size of a dime, and is very light in weight. Initially, I thought that the latch and screws were crooked, but looking at what I can fix myself I don't consider that much of a problem It took me about an hour to screw them back in. Otherwise, the latch works well. Overall, I'm very satisfied for the price I paid.
