It's been awhile since I've used a Cricut machine, but these look awesome. I have a wooden board that is 31 inches thick, which is actually a quarter inch thick and reasonably pliable.
With the laser, did it work
The answer is not clear. I used fabric paint to create this project.
I think the fabric paint would work if it was thick enough. Is it because fabric paint is more durable than These blocks are great and work great when they are used with Speedball fabric inks on fabric.

Among the things I'm teaching in this class is how to carve stamps with rubber. The fact that it is much cheaper than the name brand is what initially drew me to it. As someone who has worked with it, now I have two complaints 1) it is much more difficult to carve than the other, and that makes getting smooth curves difficult as well. the rubber does not hold the ink like a name brand.
I wouldn't call it terrible but it isn't what I was expecting. In the future, I'll purchase the name brand due to my desire to give my students the best experience possible.
When I first printed a medium piece (the Boston terrier) I was a little hesitant because I was not sure if it would be a huge worthwhile investment of time. But I am quite happy with my results. As for the rubber itself, it's a little thicker than speedball, a little stiffer, a little less flexible, and just a little bit less "buttery". It is carved from speedball with a betta fish stamp I made. Even with my cheapest and most basic tools, I was able to get fine details with speedball. Amazon's product had a harder time achieving fine details with the same tools as other products. It looks a bit different from the speedball, however, as the ink seems to sit differently. With an archival ink pad, I get a deep black stain on my speedball carvings. The differences I noticed don't matter all that much, just thought I'd mention them. Is this product worth using? If I have to chose, I'd choose- My answer is yes. Each set contains 8 pieces, which you can use for practice or to create something Prints, as you can see, and it's a full-color lino. Get it for yourself, to give to your kids, to your students, to your friends, to family - you get it for When you're on a budget, Speedball is extremely expensive, and there are only so many games you can play. Take a look at these and have some fun **TEXT EDITIED**)* Instead of using a flat ink pad, I tried printing again, this time with an ink tube and roller from Speedball. This time I used paper for printmaking, and the ink transfer was much darker. So in summary, the ink, paper, and carving tools MATTTER.
When we study William Morris patterns during class, we do a block printing exercise that utilizes William Morris's patterns. It has become more difficult to find Speedy Carve blocks in our town, so I wanted to create a store where students could purchase them. At a fraction of the cost of the name brand, these were just as effective. I was very satisfied with my purchase and would certainly purchase from them in the future.
Despite being easy to carve, it is relatively hard. It's much easier than the old days in art class when we used The following is my recommendation. To accommodate a person's learning curve, there are plenty of them too.
Although I bought this lino product with caution, I had concerns because reviews stated it was an inferior product. I have found that SpeedyCarve by Speedball is superior, followed by Blicks E-P-L. You may cut Z. This one worked well for carving, it was fairly flexible, cleaned well (and did not come with the powdery coating found on the other two), and it let me draw ink smoothly. It might not be ideal for a very serious and detailed project, but for small blocks the size of a greeting card, it's a steal. If I had to use it with students, particularly beginners, I would not hesitate. The use of sharp tools and proper care have an important role to play here, but I would not call the product The product in general is very satisfactory to me.
I would buy it Fast and easy to cut, compares favorably to Speedball's Price is great). Only thing I don't like is that it is easier to rip if you are rushing (so be careful), but I would absolutely.
I have just finished my first block and am pleased with the outcome. It is very easy to carve and create fine details from this material. If you want to carve both sides, you could do so because the rubber is thick and there's no need to mount it. It is a good product for people who are just starting out This is a great product at a good price.
