I didn't measure the length, but it punches holes for a standard three-ring notebook. I've punched holes for paper going into a variety of three-ring binders and have had no issues.
Yes, that is the only size with which it is compatible. Other sizes of paper will not be accommodated.

I'm disabled and have never been able to punch a hole in anything, much less three holes in 12 slices of trees at once (that's 36 holes with one palsy punch brother!). I adore this device; at long last, I'll be able to back up the checks my mouth writes. It feels great to be taken seriously once again. Isn't it true that no one wants their ID to have a hole in it when they wake up? Is your partner overusing the credit card? That's what I'm going to do! Stop it, or I'll use my new Bostitch Office Heavy Duty 3 hole puncher to palsy hole punch your credit card right on the magnetic strip. Thank you, Bostitch, for restoring my self-esteem and giving me a new moniker: The Peter Puncher. Because I'm in a wheelchair, I'm always punching holes in anything that will fit in my sweet new puncher to show my dominance, but I'm also always at the perfect height to peter punch a guy.
Paper size: 5" x 11" So, as much as I'd like to give this a positive review, I'm only going to give it three stars. What I like about it: I like the red color, and it's simple to put on. br>However, the hole alignment is not adjustable, and the hole length is insufficient for an 8. A sheet of paper measuring 5x11" is required. You must estimate the line up with the middle of the paper, which I failed to do in my photo example.
We had a similar hole punch that the pins would always catch and stick in, so we decided to replace it in the hopes of finding a newer model that would work better. Regrettably, the same issue reared its head again. As a result, the item was sent back to us. However, upon closer inspection, we discovered that two of the three circlips were aligned with the gaps in the circlips facing the hinge side of the punch, while the third was turned at nearly 50 degrees. The other two are at an angle of 60 degrees. We rotated the third clip to align the gap with the other two, which appeared to solve the problem for the time being.

There was no real issue; I simply checked the top and bottom of the paper for equal overlap on the punch body. br>br>I would buy this Bostitch Office 3 hole punch again for the price and what it does. I'll wait and see how long it lasts before writing a review.
This hole puncher is quite nice. It's a lovely red color, it's compact, and it can be used with one hand; I've used it several times and found it to be very useful.
When I first bought this hole punch, one side of the top was not connected. I attempted to attach it, but it proved difficult. Rather than forcing the issue, I returned it and requested a replacement. I thought I was being punked when the second one arrived with the side and middle bars not attached to the top bar. Hole punches do not appear to be a product that requires assembly after purchase. I believe there is some poor quality control. Anyway, I completely removed the top and reinstalled it. We worked it out because I didn't want to try again. However, dealing with it is extremely inconvenient.
The product arrived in perfect condition and is exactly what I was looking for. The company was extremely helpful and responsive, and they even followed up on a shipping and delivery issue that was not their fault. This company comes highly recommended because of their dedication to customer service and follow-up.
I like how there are no holes in the bottom cover, so the little round cutouts stay inside until I empty it, rather than falling all over my floor. I just finished using it, and I'm very pleased with it!.
