It is one eighth inch or three tenths of an inch. This means that it's 5mm thick.
Across the top and bottom of each, they are 1 3/4" and total about 1 13/16" or Here's what I could come up with.
They are 45mm in diameter, and the yellow beads are just under 0.25mm across. I don't have the packaging, but they measure 45mm total. There may be a difference of 4mm. I used my ruler to measure 375 across (I use it for jewelry). I don't have my calipers handy (I use them for jewelry) Hope this helped.
You can magnetize Dritz Quilter Pins by placing them on a magnet, or they'll become magnetized by their own magnetism. A pin holder that is magnetic is used by me. In addition to holding the pins, it finds the ones that stray from a table or When I bought it, I paid 15 dollars I bought it from an online store that sells sewing supplies 20 years ago. It appears Amazon sells the same round magnetic pin holder as well. The magnetic holder must not be in contact with sewing needles. Anything metallic can be attached to it.

These all fall into the "they don't make 'em like they used to" category of products that have been around forever and just aren't the same as they were decades ago. I bought these pins because I trust the brand and the product based on previous experience. Over the course of 20 years I was using the same set of Dritz quilting pins but had grown out of them. I find these pins to be fragile and too easy to bend compared to my old Dritz pins. A sturdy pin is essential when pushing them through several layers of fabric. I have already lost one ball to a pin in three days It was something I had only previously experienced a handful of times in my 20-year career. There's just no way I can trust these pins to last as long as they used to. During the process of creating, pins are needed at every step and I have been sewing and quilting for 28 years. It should not be the concern of any seamstress to know if the pins will work properly. These pins give me a lot of pleasure with their long length and large heads-- There will never be another time when I use little sewing pins It's a good price, but the quality is suspect.
When possible, I prefer to use clips, but sometimes I have to use pins. This is an excellent choice for thicker projects since it is very strong and heavy duty. The bags and totes I construct with them generally do not bend, even after being layered many times (although some have bent). I only use these pins for projects that require heavy weight, since clips can't be used.
They are convenient to use in all my sewing. I love the size of these quilting pins. They are magnetically attached to my magnetic pin holder, so I would have preferred it if they were magnetic.
guess that these ins are designed to be worn with sheer material, since they are so thin that I cannot wear them in sweatshirt or denim seams, at least not Having handled several pins in the attempt to get them through the jeans, I am convinced they are not appropriate.
The upholstery should not be too heavy. I liked the following This is how long it is. There were a few things I did not like This line is too narrow. They are, however, not used for quilting, which I did not realize. In the course of my upholstery project, I needed a pin that would keep my zipper in place while attaching it to a cushion pocket I constructed for my ottoman. These pins met my expectations. Be very careful when handling them because their ends are sharp.
tend to make thick bags most of the time. As these pins are sharp and sturdy, I use them to secure several layers of fabric together. It is difficult for them to bend. An easy way to grip the round head is by its round shape. For the price, this is a good value.
I used to have Dritz pins that were of superior quality, but this pin is not. However, they don't look as sharp as those above. As I had depended on the name for years to provide me with fine quality pins, I was disapointed. The product will not be purchased.
A long time ago, I worked as a professional seamstress and I gave up using old fashioned sewing pins. There is too much likelihood that one will be missed, one will be lost. It is the worst feeling in the world to finish making a pillow and realize that there is a pin still stuck in a layer! With bright yellow heads, these quilters pins are extremely visible and the longer length of them means they can be used for general sewing as well as Products manufactured by Dritz are always reliable, and these pins are sure to last for years to come.
