Only the HD models mentioned above would be compatible.

This is a better extension for my Stylist 7528 than the one Singer sells (and sells). It has legs on each of the four corners, which adds to its overall stability. I see why it won't work with the HD machines made in China. I bought another extension tray from China (I got it on EBay, but they appear to be available on Amazon as well), and I had to modify it with a dremel and Velcro to fit. Check for one of these if you have an older HD. However, if your HD was made in Vietnam and you need an extension table, get one of these before Singer stops making them.

Although this is a well-made item, it does not fit my Singer 4423. When you receive the product, the box will indicate that it is only compatible with specific serial numbers for each model. I won't be able to use this, so it'll be returned to you. It's a shame because it's a fantastic size.
Only certain Singer sewing machine models are compatible with this extension table. Although it says so in the description, I had no way of knowing whether my machine was from Vietnam or not, so I gave it a shot. br>br>Despite the model number being listed, it appears that my machine is incompatible with this product. Because of the clips, it does not fit flush. br>br>I believe an easy way to find out is to remove the storage compartment on your arm and look for any holes into which the notches of this extension table on the right could be inserted. My machine, on the other hand, does not. br>br>I also included a photo of the box with the model and serial numbers that this table is compatible with in case future buyers are interested. That information, by the way, would be fantastic in the description. br>br>To adjust the legs to the desired height, simply twist them until they are level. Overall, the product is of high quality. br>br>I'm only giving it four stars because it doesn't work with my sewing machine and the description doesn't include the serial number. That would have aided me in making a more informed decision, and I would have passed on this opportunity.
This will not work with 4411 versions prior to 2019 (check the serial number on your machine BEFORE purchasing!). This is completely ignored in the description. br>However, the only thing that appears to be wrong is two extra tabs on the end where it meets the machine, which I'm going to try to remove because finding an extension table that DOES fit the version of my machine is impossible.
As a gift to my wife, I purchased this item. In May of this year, she bought her Singer 4452 sewing machine on Amazon. I couldn't find anything on Amazon that said this product wouldn't work with machines purchased before June 2019. Nothing I've found suggests there's a way to make it work. Because it was for a gift that was opened on 2/18/21 and the return window closed on 2/7/21, I'll just have to discard it as a waste of money.
I liked the concept and had it for about two months when one of the pegs that keeps the sewing machine level snapped off after I shifted it slightly. I'm extremely disappointed! As a result, I've given it a two-star rating. It was not worth the $50.
This extension table is a perfect fit for my wife's 4452's end table. It's built to last and is extremely useful. She can even use it to hold her iPad while sewing and watching Singer tutorial videos on YouTube. This is a wonderful addition.
