This sewing foot for overcasting is fantastic. Both my Brother and Singer sewing machines were in use at the same time. This is a "snap on" foot, which means you'll need a machine with an attachment that allows you to simply pop on and off the various foot attachments onto a small metal bar. Because my machines were designed to accept such an attachment, it was simple to install and remove. It was simple to use once it was turned on. If you don't know how to use it, there are videos on the machine manufacturer's websites as well as on YouTube, so you shouldn't have any trouble learning. It's ideal for fabrics that tend to ravel or lose threads during wear or washing. The fabric will remain stable for a long time if you use these sewing feet.

With my newer Singer machines (my oldest Singer is about 50 years old and still going strong), this overcast foot works well. It can be used with almost any low-cost device. I do a lot of heirloom sewing and very fine doll clothes, so the overcast foot comes in handy. br>br>I use one-inch shank machines. quarter- To avoid raveling, inch seams must be overcast.

If you're unfamiliar with the term "shanks," educate yourself before placing an order. This foot will work on a machine with a low shank footing. br>br>This small foot will allow you to sew very fine quarter-inch seams. The thread will cling to the fabric and give it a serged appearance. It's ideal for work that requires a high level of attention to detail. br>br>It has a nice, sturdy feel to it, and it appears to work well for me. It has been a pleasure to have it.

For overcast seams and tiny rolled hems, the YRDQNCraft Snap On Overcasting Presser Foot does exactly what it should. Rolling hems and overcast seams were no problem for it. This quick and simple method on foot is universally compatible with the majority of machines.
