Yes! This adapter is fantastic. I've used it on my featherweight, Singer 201, and Singer VS2 treadle machines, and I think you'll like it!
No, it won't happen.
It functions in the same way as any other adapter. You attach the sewing foot to the adapter by holding the back of it, and you see a black piece on the back? br>This pulls the foot-holding piece. To put your foot in place, press forward and then release to lock it in. Then loosen the screw on the leg, insert the adapter, and tighten the screw. Done.

However, I've discovered that this new "ankle" is performing admirably and that the foot has not yet fallen off.
It does exactly what it says on the tin. br>- It's so simple to change your feet now. br>MINOR CON- It was a little difficult to put together. From the side, it has a large U shape, and the screw tightens onto the shank from there. This, without a doubt, allows the piece to fit on a variety of setups; however, it was a little perplexing until it tightened and stayed put. It's as if you're holding it in place until the screw is tightened.
- This is most likely why it is SO CHEAP, rather than having to buy a separate adapter for each sewing machine, so it isn't really a con.
This was purchased for a great granddaughter's 12/13 year old brother who wanted to use it. It's only there as a safety net. It continues without difficulty as it should.
It works flawlessly. I tried it on with a low-shrink sew machine. These do not include an adaptive foot presser, which allows you to change not only the flat foot but also the entire "ankle. " Only the flat feet can be changed quickly and easily. 😊.
I was sad because I thought I'd have to buy a new machine, but you came to my rescue!.
She loved it once she figured out how to switch the feet with a single button press rather than screwing them on and off. Superior to the presser foot kit in terms of quality. So there you have it.
So, here's everything you need to know. This will NOT work on a Singer slant 400 or 500 sewing machine, or any other slant needle Singer!.
I bought this to replace the foot holder that came with my machine; the original holder was molded plastic, and it was obvious that depending on how often you snapped feet in and out of it, it would become loose or even break over time. br>The pin on this foot secures the foot very well, and I now have a backup foot. br>Both the price and the delivery were excellent.
