The stencils cannot be made from it because of its light weight. My designs are drawn on the paper, and I create the quilting on the quilt by stitching through the drawing. I then toss the paper away. I believe stencils won't hold up at all, but I think it's perfect for that application.

Being that I am just beginning to sew, I felt it was important for me to be able to trace my patterns, rather than cut In the end, I gave this a try and it is amazing. I am almost done with the roll and will certainly use it With tape, it's easy to see what you're tracing I use it to hold down the paper and it works great.
In addition to sketching out things on floor plans, I also use it to overlay furniture pieces. You can see the floorpans beneath it because the material is translucent enough to let the light through. When I need it, I have it, but I don't use it too often.
There was a disappointment with the color of this paper, since it was It may not be a big deal for out if you need it for other purposes, but I needed to use a paper with a richer canary color for my purposes (collage). While that may be the case, I find it totally satisfactory to use as I have tested three different brands of pens and have determined that one of them is better for collage than the others.
