Okay, it says it's 12x16 in the title. It's a nine, according to the description. 5x 12. It says it's 8 in the photo. 5 x 15. I'm just wondering how big it is. ?

10 x 14 and 11 are the dimensions of the velour pads I ordered. 8 x 15. 7 . When I placed my order, I wasn't sure what the description said.

Very pleased! I used soft pastels on the paper for the first time

Because my Sennelier brand is so soft, it worked best with them. I used Rembrandt as well, and he was fine. I painted a self-portrait. portrait. The texture in the final painting is stunning. Normally, pastel paper has a tooth to it, which results in the patterned texture. This paper has a soft texture to it, as if you could reach out and stroke your face and feel soft skin.

Pastel does not smear, but it is difficult to remove

Because of the velvet tooth, I thought I might like this velvet paper. The pastel does not smear as easily as regular pastel paper, which is a big plus, but it is nearly impossible to erase on it. It's also pricey; I'll use this pad, but I'm not going to buy any more.

This paper is a lovely surface for using soft pastels on. Beautiful colors provide a plethora of options for background color experimentation. This book comes highly recommended.

This is my new favorite! I wanted to give velour paper a try because I hadn't done so before, and I'm really enjoying it! It takes my pastels so easily to blend into it

The texture of the paper is plush

The texture of this paper is odd, and it resembles terry cloth. Pastel color sticks are appealing, but pastel pencils are unappealing. Pencils, such as the Faber castell polychromos, look nice, but I don't care for them because they make me feel like I'm painting on terry cloth instead of paper.
