Questions & Answers

How does the MRS color thinned and MRS leveling thinned differ from each other?

These can both be used to thin Mr. Color lacquer paints. A leveling thinner dries slower, therefore it will require more time for those who enjoy more brush painting because it takes longer to dry. For this reason, it might be faster to hand paint long strokes with less brush strokes showing. It is to be expected that leveling thinner will take longer to dry than regular thinners when being used for airbrushing. For me, the end results appeared to be similar.

Some paints can eat decals or even damage the plastic of a model if they are diluted with thinner. It is not uncommon for non hobby products to destroy model kits. To summarize, this thinner is exactly what you need for your hobby, but make sure you test it first! Since I was 62 years old, I have been a modeler. It is of what I speak that I.

In 2017, I used Mr Color paints for my NASA chase plane that I entered in the 2016 IPMA contest in Fullerton, California. Despite the hard competition, it managed to win 3rd place.

It might be worth letting us know if you order a lot of paints or thinners. We will need to wait a little longer for that. It has been sent from them, but you have not received it yet. It's an honor to have worked with you.

You can certainly use it for a number of purposes

A great all-rounder that uses a thinner material. Paints won't be the only thing you need when building gunpla, but putties and other materials as well.
