What is the black finish like? Is it matte or Does it look glossy, or is it shiny?
I would say that it may depend on what you are using it for. As far as the matte aspect goes, I've used it on cardboard, but on a sealed wood surface (I was touching up a worn edge of a coffee table) the matte aspect was less apparent. Despite this, I do not consider it to be particularly shiny. Here is a quick explanation of what I mean, and I hope it doesn't seem confusing to you.
