This is the 1000000000000x time I've bought something. It is incredible. It's airy and adds texture to my artwork. I've tried all the brands and honestly, this is the best of the best. br>br>I also got the regular molding (texture) paste, which does the same job but is physically heavier, takes longer to dry, and is a little more 'grey' than this one.
I've never used molding paste before, but after reading so many positive reviews about it, I had to give it a try, and I'm very pleased with it. This is exactly what I needed to boost the quality of my stencil images- It works well with the stencils I have, and after they've dried, I paint the image with acrylic paint. I'm so glad I came across it!.
On cardstock paper, I use this product to create stencils. It's just the right amount of fat: It does not warp or make the paper too heavy, and it has enough body to produce clean, crisp images that do not seep through the stencil. br>The best part is that it is water-resistant. based dyes (such as Ranger-based dyes) Distress inks, glitter, and pearlescent powders all work well together. I would strongly advise other cardmakers to use it for this purpose.
It's simple to use, and you can customize it with color if desired. I really like it when I use a stencil with it. I'll most likely purchase more as I discover new applications for it.
In comparison to other fabrics, it is extremely light and dries quickly. It has an almost airy quality to it, and it leaves a solid texture on the canvas.
This was my first time using molding paste, and I quickly discovered that it was exactly what I needed to hide flaws on a concrete eagle I was restoring with acrylics. With the paste, the beak came out fantastically. br>.
The product is excellent. I'm new to this and don't have time to learn everything there is to know about it.
