She enjoys "crafting" with random household items. This seemed like an appropriate place to start for her. The first issue was the lack of an idea book. There is a "poster" included with different pictures of crafts made from the supplies in the box, as well as a web address for a blog that the company created that has instructions for projects that you can make from their various kits for sale, so my child was initially overwhelmed. She eventually came up with some ideas and has been using the kit to create since shortly after Christmas. Her only gripe was with the glue, which she found to be of poor quality. br> This supply kit comes highly recommended!.
This craft kit was purchased for my 6-year-old daughter, and the smaller one (my first craft box) was purchased for my 3-year-old daughter. I know it will last a long time because they've been using it almost every day for the past month and still have plenty of materials left. It does come with a sheet with some craft ideas, but I like how it's meant to be open-ended. rather than some crafts that have a step-by-step process, instructions for each step The materials used vary a lot, but they all appear to be of good quality. If you plan on gluing any of the felt pieces together, keep in mind that the kit includes a tube of glue that isn't the best. Aside from that, this was an excellent gift for my daughters, and I am extremely pleased! I would order from Kids Made Modern again in a heartbeat.
There's also a poster with some ideas. This is fantastic if your child enjoys making art. My granddaughter was overjoyed, and it was well worth the money. Excellent craftsmanship. The glue is the only drawback. Felt and pom poms both require a tacky glue. The provided small bottle of glue is not strong enough for larger projects, but it is adequate for paper crafts.
She has endless possibilities for what she can make now that she has access to such a large variety of craft supplies at such a low price. The gift made her ecstatic. And her mother was overjoyed that everything was contained in a container! Win win!.
This has been a huge hit with my children. This "spooky" black widow necklace (to which he later added another set of legs) and some rings were among the first things he created. So far, they've created stick people and other oddities. They were completely taken aback when they first opened it and saw what was inside. My children are 11 years old, 10 years old, seven years old, and four years old, and they all love it.
This is a fantastic craft collection for my budding artist, and all of the items are of excellent quality. Because the case does not close properly, the product's sturdiness is reduced by one star. A couple of velcro dots will help solve this problem, but I'd prefer to see a case that can withstand the amount of use I'm sure it will get.
I just got this today, and I have to say, wow, it's a lot bigger than I expected. I've bought arts and crafts boxes before, and they're usually smaller for the price. I'm confident that the rest of my nieces and nephews will receive one as well.
I gave it to a 6-year-old boy who had just discovered crafting as a birthday present. OMGOODNESS, he's a sucker for this! There are numerous supplies that are readily available. Uses it on a daily basis and is ecstatic about it. Overwhelmed by imagination.
