I thought the packaging was reasonable. I received it in perfect condition despite being double boxed. Having assembled and tested this unit, I must say that this unit is definitely an improvement over the products you see advertised on Amazon for $100. I think that the extra $50 to get the 3-sided lighting and the dual fan is worth it. In contrast to the other units, this one has a 9CFM rating, while those other units had a 4CFM rating. It is possible to run one fan or both at the same time. You can tell there is a difference in suction both ways, and the noise level is about the same. I was amazed at how cleverly they designed the interconnected lighting. It should be easier to manage shadows if you have light on three sides. I had noticed that spray booths with less expensive sides would need to tape the areas where the sides fold in order to prevent overspray from escaping, so it appears that with this design these areas might not need to be taped. Upon first use, I will update this, but my initial impression is that this appears to be a good unit that can successfully deal with the task at hand.

Assembling this unit was quick and easy. I took between half and an hour to finish A few minutes. Beautifully illuminated by the LED panels at the top and on the sides, the work area is well lit. As a result of having severe COPD, my lungs need protection when I paint by hand with acrylic paint. It is convenient for me to be able to switch both exhaust fans on, so it is the one I chose. My only option is to switch to one fan. The switch is just a simple toggle. Left-handed people move the switch and both exhaust fans kick in. My first priming on a car just went well! I got this thing set up just this morning and it works great! As a result, all of the overspray is sucked right in and I was only using one fan initially, but both on was even better and was not necessary. Additionally, the lights in the hotel are fantastic, the inside is very well lit. Noise was not as loud as I expected. Over the cheaper ones, this is the one I would recommend.

My 3D printed models are going to be airbrushed a lot as I am getting into airbrushing. It was easy to set up and I received the item on time. The only problem I had was that the booth's base, or floor, is quite fragile. For my purposes I wanted this booth to be a lot firmer, even though I know it is supposed to be portable. Cutting a piece of 1/2" plywood to fit completely under the booth and a 1/4" piece of plywood to fit between the rubber feet enabled me to accomplish this. But don't get me wrong, I still feel this spray paint booth is a good buy.

An extra $50 for a normal unit is very much worth it for the triple led strip and the double fan. In the case that you spend a lot of money or time investing in your hobby, you absolutely have to have this.
