Questions & Answers

When using these, can you use water?

My understanding is that I don't. The oil pastels are oil-based so water wouldn't be the best blend for them. I use baby oil to blend and smooth the To prevent it from going through to the other side, you need a thicker piece of paper.

Information on the components of the stick as well as its consistency are In total, only 10 of 48 sticks contained pigment information

There are three browns that are nearly identical to each other. Cool greys are not allowed. There are some that adhere like lipstick, and others that clump together. This is the booklet's Chinese version. The basic colors have a lot of high chroma. The behavior of Crayola Portfolio is similar. It is better for beginners to use Mungyo Artist.

The product is of excellent quality
5/5

This is a highly recommended book. The oil pastels are very good. I was surprised how good they In order to create a painting I use the sennelier oil pastels - which are very expensive. As you would expect, the quality is excellent. It was important to me for my children to have an oil pastel that blending well, yet I did not want anything too expensive. Camlin and Faber Castell have both been bought by me in the past, but I didn't like them. The Camlin was much better than the Faber Castell. I then bought these items and I'm glad I did! The color is vibrant, the formula blends well, and it is super easy to apply. My experiments were completed on toothed gray (textured) paper and produced excellent results. Every year since then I give a set to each of my I'm in love with.

The painting is done with oil pastels

I liked the colors, but the black could use a little more. The tool is used for drawing and painting. I can create a look of an oil painting on my drawings by using a tissue saturated in baby oil and rubbing it over them.

It was a pleasure to use them! These were a lot of fun to use
5/5

Similar to sennelier, they are very soft. They are a lot softer and creamy than cray pas, and they won't leave little crumbs on your fingers the way they do with cray pas. The colors are actually quite bright, and we enjoy the 48-color set. The quality of these is high. As they are manufactured in China, the packaging is somewhat strange, but they still come well packaged with a foam tray that holds each of the pastels. It is worth mentioning that the creamy texture of these would not be a good choice for young children however because they can be difficult.

My previous oil pastels had not blended well even though I had obtained them from a reputable firm. The pastels of Paul Rubens have the ability to blend seamlessly with the background for an outstanding.

nbsp I will never return. My last update was in August 2021. The Myungo Oil pairs wonderfully with the oils (which are softer, but not as good with textures) & With the pentel, you get a less waxy but more pigmented product with a nice texture. Paul Rubens does the bulk of the work, I have to say. I don't think Sennelier would be able to keep such an incredible price for its product. They can keep their prices, but I will not be their There is an extremely high pigment content in these colors. They are a bit superior to Myungo -- but Myungo has a unique ability to layer. It's so easy to mix these two, that I often do so with brands like Pentel and Doms In my experience, I manage to make all of them Don't hesitate to give these a shot, I really.

It is SOFT, which is what I like about the colors
4/5

The color combination you chose is lovely. The only snag I found was that they seemed not as firm as they should have been, so I have to let them go - 5 stars if not for the fact that theyso soft that they are clingy-ish and hard to control. The color can stick to the paper and accumulate around the stick if too much product is applied. The details were definitely hard for me to put in. As I'm new to oil pastels, it might just be a matter of user error, however I've used a different brand on Amazon that wasn't quite as soft, which I turned to when I needed more control. All I wanted was to find non-toxic ones, as well as ones with a wide range of colors. Although they are great to cover big areas, when I use my fingers, the blending is excellent. Trying them out has been a lot of fun and, again, the colors are fantastic. If I had to buy them again, I would.
