Questions & Answers

The steepest angle that can be set on this is how steep?

This angle varies a little depending on the size of the board, but it is usually

Are there any diamond art painters using this?

Is there a reason not to? Diamond Art Painting is a kind of flat surface good for building puzzles, painting by numbers, or building puzzles from scratch.

What can be done to completely remove the parallel slidebar?

If you do this, you'll be left with parts of the brackets on either side that connect to the wires on the board's underside.

The width of the straight edge is what percentage of its thickness? Is it stable enough for a drawing journal to stand on?

Having a notch in the silver part of the straight edge is a good addition. In my opinion, it is thick enough to be used to support anything between a folder and (at its thickest) a spiral-bound notebook.

Choosing the right drawing table is important We've got our hands firmly on the wheel
5/5

The Husky Adjustable work bench (52X24) with two drawers I use for my work is adjustable to a certain degree, but I needed a drawing table that could be adjusted. It is built on the I was tempted by the Draft Deluxe Adjustable Angle Parallel Drawing Board because of the great price and the quality. Despite its poor condition, it was delivered in good order. Styrofoam corners were used to protect it during shipping. It was double boxed. Rubber "feet" on the bottom of the table prevent it from slipping. It holds solidly with the adjustable tilting mechanism The chair feels solid and has no wobble or cheap feel Working on the table, it supports my weight and stays in place when I lean against it. So there would only be one cord that I would have to trip over, I stuck a power strip on it.

While it fulfills its purpose for 86 bucks, it can be improved
4/5

It appears that the surface of the drafting / design board is ordinary cabinet grade melamine, and it does not respond to needles in the same way that I started by making a small circle in the corner below the horizontal bar to see what kind of a divot my compass would make. Since the laminate is hard, it did not leave as deep an impression as I expected. Another way to put it is, it's tough and sturdy. Needles in the future will catch lead points at the tiny burr left by the needle. Compass needles don't go in very fast or deep, making it more difficult for the user to draw a clean circle, more difficult than it already is for them to accomplish in the first place. I personally find drawing high quality lines with a compass frustrating and time-consuming. For me, the compassing is not an issue because I am not planning on doing much engineering, which requires a lot more circles than architecture, but future needle marks have to be kept in mind In order to keep the drawing surface smooth after heavy compass use, it is scraped or filled with something. The board will likely get damaged on job sites anyways since I am a remodeling designer, plumber, and electrician so I will probably replace it with one with a hard carry case in the future. The tool lasts for a certain amount of time, like a saw or something else I burn up (wear out) on a job site and replace when it is needed. I was not expecting the cable mechanism to be as impressive as it is. Cables are not pictured on the Amazon spec page very well, and so I was a bit nervous about it. one thing makes them stand out from the rest they are very well designed. In terms of keeping the horizontal bar straight, I don't think it is going to be a user-friendly interface. Once I have used the program a few times, I will follow up with this review on how accurate it remains At school, we have the same kind of drawing boards with rubber stops at the bottom. The bar can also be re-positioned simply by moving one washer. By lowering it to the stops, the cable will be set (combined with the drawing) by slightly undoing the cable. The cable will be placed back in the original position of the horizontal bar so that it matches the lines on the drawing throughout the composition. I don't know how much it will cost or what quality it will be. In return for 86 dollars, you might be able to use a rubberized drawing surface. My knowledge of the price of that rubberized material is limited. Bottom stops for the horizontal bar definitely could be integrated into the manufacturing process of these nifty little tables, but as things stand now the bar bottoms out by hitting the roller hardware (the wheel bracket) on the bottom of the cable assembly, and it is not in an obvious or intentionally placed place. In fact, the designer has a poor understanding of drafting tables as he appears never to have used one. The board is angled high enough for me on the stand so it does not interfere with me when I am writing. In the long run, I am going to have to use a stool to get into class since my school desks do not angle up far enough for me. There are several levels that can be selected on this board. PEB is a sturdy and well made product. There's not much of the mickey mouse or sloppy to it. As an example, the board's lamination and trim are tight, and it's straight as an arrow. There is also an excellent bracket attachment on the carry handle that is secured by With proper care and attention, I am certain this device will last a very long time. As a result, I am very satisfied with the product.

The products we offer are strong, durable, easy to maintain, and reliable Thanks for sharing! I really like In addition to being all I needed, the Martin Universal Design Adjustable Angle Parallel Drawing Board was full of features I could not find anywhere else
5/5

My family and I are thrilled with the design, durability, and functionality of the watch. Neither I am complaining nor am I dissatisfied To be honest, I didn't expect this drawing board to do so well. Oil and acrylics are both mediums I utilize, along with an array of accessories, methods, and mediums that are a bit different. There is no doubt that things can easily become messy and destructive. Since becoming an artist 30 years ago, I've chewed through more surfaces than I can recall, but this board is able to hold up to some of my heaviest and stranger The drawing board in this case likes it rough, and I'm certainly not gentle with it. This is a perfect match for us. There are two main surfaces There are no bumps, and the surface is smooth The perfect tool for all of your drawing, painting, and sculpture The fluid can be used for smoothing clay and tacky glues as well. My technique is to paint directly on the sheet and then carefully peel off the painted part, creating unique textures. Having scraped the surface mercilessly with palette knives, pounded on it, rammed it with carving tools, and rubbed excessively with solvents and paint-removing products, I can safely say it is beyond repair. It did not show the slightest sign of wear and tear after I ran some gnarly sandpaper over it (on accident). The construction process The board can hold significant weight without bending, warping, or buckling as a result of its strength. In the process of working on fine details such as hair or pores, I tend to lean in and press against my drawing boards, and this board never creaks, moves, slides, or complains. There's a good chance I could knock it down with a jackhammer and it wouldn't fall. It is unfortunate that I do not have a jackhammer to explore this possibility fully. This is Straightedge I find the straightedge to be surprisingly accurate, even though I don't use it for its intended purpose as often as others may. I find it to be just what I'm looking for, though. There has always been a straight, strong, and easy way for it to be moved when the need arose. They lock into place in a matter of seconds as soon as they are turned. No matter how quickly it is moved, it seems to stay in The angle lock is the following A notable feature of the adjustable angle lock is its ease of adjustment. The mechanism is easy to use and it maintains its position even when subjected to To give you an idea of the size of my tamer artwork, I've included a photo of it holding some of my paintings-- My vision is always distorted when I see measurements online. I hope that this will help others with the same problem. board is the "small" one with a dimension of 21". Among the small paintings, there are two 2x2s and one 3x3, while All of these pieces fit perfectly, as you can see As long as I have at least three or four paintings like these unfinished at once, I have plenty of room Despite the board's size, it manages to fit into a small space while still looking neat. The tabletop is covered in a painter's tarp as it is positioned on space that is standard height. Even though the tarp moves if I get too hurried while working, the drawing board has not. As a matter of fact, its little grippy feet hold firmly onto any surface. This drawing board is very durable, sturdy, adjustable, and smooth. It is recommended to anyone having trouble finding something of these qualities. As a bonus, I also got a straightedge. However, I am not that big, so I would not consider the drawing board portable. In theory, you could even pretend it's portable if you don't mind lugging it around. In any case, it does need to be placed on a raised surface. You can't use it as a full-time job The easel can either stand alone or have a height adjustment. I found it just right for me, since it didn't provide too much space extra and had plenty of adjustable options, so my flat desk was transformed into a perfect screen for drawing.
