To begin a more intentional practice of daily gratitude, we bought this for our family. We had discussed that some of the TED talks that have addressed gratitude and happiness had led to us believing that our household ought to be nurturing gratitude actively. It sparked our interest when our 7yo daughter saw a display Buddha Board in a shop and loved to "play" with it and we thought it would be a perfect physical reminder and tool. When we got it set up (very simple instructions), we began writing each day what we were grateful for we have made it a daily practice. The inspiration may strike once or as often as you like. There have been other ways for users to write down their worries on a Buddha Board, but this is somewhat different. Plan was simple enough to be followed by even the youngest members of our family and the board itself is beautiful enough to add a touch of elegance to our family area without undermining its aesthetics. Seeing what all of us write has been an inspiration, and our daily habit of writing has become a joy for us. A side benefit of using it is that our daughter, who has had difficulties with handwriting, has experienced some improvements in her hand-eye coordination! On the occasion of my sister's 14th birthday, I gave her this. The only thing she didn't already have was this. She loves it! She's an artist, so finding something completely new for her was tough. The drawings disappear as she draws them, and it's so much fun to watch them Despite the brush being very low-quality, it does not really need to be high-quality, and you can use just about any brush you like. The product feels lightweight overall, but if handled properly, it will be able to last for a long time.

Like the Buddah Board I saw in local stores before purchasing it here on Amazon, it is nothing like the one I saw in local stores. When I opened it up on Christmas morning, I was surprised to find that it was much more thin than the board you see in stores, but it does work well and my daughter seems to love It would be worth it to me to pay $5 extra for better.

I bought the Buddha board at the suggestion of Tim Ferriss, and it has been one of the most rewarding purchases I have made in a long time. It certainly isn't a joke when it comes to learning to let things You can draw anything you want, and it may be frustrating to watch something you put so much effort into disappear, but the exercise is a fabulous way for us to overcome our obsessions.

It's the perfect board to practice my Japanese calligraphy and learn my kanji at the same time! I really love the fact that you don't have to buy ink or paper if you purchase this kit. It is very easy to set up, and comes with a brush, paper, board, and a water tray. You just need to add water to make it work! It's almost impossible to make a mess, and it's super easy to clean! Anyone looking for a fun activity should try this board out! I highly recommend it!.

I find it to be a good practice for letting go, it encourages me to purge possessions and not to become attached to things. This is a great book to accompany meditation. I received this when I ordered an issue of Tim Ferriss's Quarterly service. While I know not to do it, it happens anyway with regular use. If you read the instructions, you are advised not to let water collect at the base where it sits. Moreover, my friend managed to leave the brush in a water dish for a long period of time until it cracked in The best way to make sure sediment doesn't collect is to wash the dish. Overall, the dish is really durable -- Despite this, I had been using it for 6 months to a year before it started showing signs of water damage, and it is still functioning fine after 2 years. The below edited version is dated April 2016. As a result of my review, they responded and sent me a brush and a replacement board as well as a replacement brush. Do you think you can not give them.
