It occurred to me that this small detail was missing so I thought I'd mention it.
YES, the pin heads are easy to hold since they are white and nice. But, the pins are somewhat dull and by the time I force the end into the fabric piece to sew it is no longer aligned correctly! Working with thin fabric, it was a problem with every pin, so it wasn't due to getting a burr on the tip every once in a while. Considering the cost of this product, I would have returned it if I had not tossed the outer package.
It is so easy to get the grippers into place. It's just right to round off to 1 3/4". I am able to easily find a pin when it falls on the floor due to the gripper part of the pin being visible. It is true that they bend easier, but they can easily be bent back into shape once they are bent again. The quantity I need is 50 more.
I like how easy it is to grip the silicone tops. This product is great for arthritis sufferers! The tops of the silicone were not damaged and there was no mark on the fabric from pressing on them with a pin, inside of the fabric. As well as the iron, it was on the highest setting! There will be other sizes I will purchase Moreover, they are packaged in a handy storage box.
If you drop one, you can see it instantly, they are easy to handle, and the handy little case makes it all the better. It couldn't possibly get better than this, could it? It is faultless.
It is a product I will buy again and again.
This iron is friendly to iron.
