Questions & Answers
Superior topstitch needles in various sizes can be found on Amazon. I use the 80/12 size for general piecing and have had great success with it. The needle eye is slightly larger than a standard 80/12 needle, ball point, universal, or sharps, which I find appealing. The entire set of these needles can be purchased, but the 90/14, 80/12, 70/10, and 100/16 needles are all available.
I'm not familiar with your machine, so pull out your manual and double-check that the needle area is completely open. These are fantastic needles, and I'm hoping they'll work with your machine.
No, these will not fit your Janome embroidery machine; I apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for the excellent customer service provided by Superior Threads.
2-yards of 50 wt sewing thread I prefer a 70 needle and ply thread. For 3- I use an 80 wt ply with a 50 wt ply.

They maintain their sharpness even after many hours of sewing. They're also incredibly resilient. I sewed through the nose bridge of an aluminum face mask by accident. Not only did the needle not break, but I also used it to finish another couple hundred face masks. (However, I wouldn't recommend sewing through aluminum. ).
Also, don't overlook superior threads; they're fantastic, especially the invisible ones.
I've already broken three needles and I'm only 1/8 of the way through the quilt; needles that break like this have never happened to me before.
"More powerful" than other needles? I had gone through two packs of masks before they broke one after the other. It's completely absurd. It was no problem when I went back to my old brand. My sewing machines won't sew with superior threads or needles, not one of the six in my studio, and I'm tired of believing superior is superior.
I usually buy directly from Superior at quilt shows, but since I won't be attending any this year, I decided to order. These make it possible to sew through iron-on interfacing without clogging up your needle. They are more durable than normal needles.
They wouldn't align with the bobbin and kept crashing into the bobbin case. After switching to a different brand, the machine performed flawlessly.
As I've gotten older, I've realized that I'm lacking in self-confidence. Threading machine with a larger eye that doesn't shred thread, so I don't have to thread the needle as often.
There will be no issues. This first needle has been used for quilting with both flannel and cotton. This is the first time I've used a titanium needle, and so far it's been great. I'll most likely buy it again.
