German needles are the only ones I purchase. These are high-quality items that can withstand a lot of abuse before bending or breaking. They're razor-sharp and don't rip the fabric to shreds. This is an excellent way to obtain sharp German needles without having to scour the city for them. In the end, Money is measured in terms of time.
I bought these needles because they were recommended for quilting, so I threaded them with my threading machine. My Brother, on the other hand, is self-employed. tying Innov- is a machine, and the needle hole is too small for the automatic needle threader. threader. It was on the verge of breaking the needle. Fortunately, I have good enough vision to thread it by hand, and I use Schmetz needles in all of my machines. With one exception, they always work well together.
These needles have previously served me well - I'm making purses that look like they're from Vera Bradley - the quilted ones, and I've discovered that these needles work well for double-threaded projects. quilted material with two sides In some areas of the purse, I have to go through up to four layers of that at a time, and they handle it admirably. The only reason I needed these was because I had a brain fart and forgot to change the presser foot while zig-zagging. zigzagging the zipper's end (I forgot to remove the zipper foot and the stitch width was too wide, resulting in the breakage of four needles due to my own stupidity). These needles are fantastic when used correctly. Everyone have a wonderful sewing day!.
Microtex sharp needles pierce the fabric rather than scoot through it like a universal needle. For my purposes, this is the right needle.
I used the sharps to make several rope baskets out of 1/4 inch cotton clothesline, and they turned out beautifully.
My Juki TL18 QVP seems to like it. Excellent for sewing bags and working with multiple layers!.
