The elastic cord from Lifeline Outdoor Gear is made in the United States of America.
Three of my masks have now been machine washed and dried five times with these on them. The width, length, or elasticity of the band did not appear to be affected. Extremely long lasting.
That is something I haven't had the pleasure of experiencing. However, to ensure that the stitching is completely secure, I go over it with a zigzag stitch.

I'd take zero stars if I had the option. Not only did they raise the price, but they also stated that it was 55 yards instead of 5 feet. This is a product I would never buy again. For that, you'll have to pay $26 dollars, and the price and amount change every day.
Because of the "stretchy" nature of this cord, the length required for face coverings/masks earloops is 1 inch shorter than with regular 1/4" elastic. It is far less irritating to the ear and does not pull the ear down or forward because it is a thinner, softer cord. Delivery was a little slower than advertised, but overall I am very pleased with the product.
I ordered two 11 yard 3mm rolls. I got ten yards of 3mm material. I'm not happy that I was shorted because it was misrepresented, even if it was only by one yard each time.
55 yards of fabric were ordered. I only managed to get 40 yards.
During an eclipse when Jupiter was transiting, I used this to restrain a demonically possessed child. He eluded capture and went on to do God only knows what. Spend your money on something else instead of praying.
I'm making face masks for my family, just like a lot of other people. This results in extremely comfortable elastic, far superior to flat elastic with irritating edges. I made it adjustable by tying the elastic.
So far, I've made 60 face masks and have plenty of elastic left over for future projects. They are surprisingly durable for being so light.
It's great for face masks, but I got a tangled mess out of it when I first opened it because of the way it was packaged. It's as if you're trying to untangle a bunch of tangles. many. Lights for the holidays. Throughout the day, I've been working on it in spurts. So I don't have to deal with it again, I'm wrapping it around an empty paper roll.
