Sure
Yes. It's the same elastic that comes with disposable masks. It's soft and pleasant to wear. I've washed the masks numerous times and have never had any issues. Ironing the masks is the only thing you need to be cautious of. The elastic will be scorched if the iron is used at too high a temperature or if the iron is left on it for too long.

Twist ties from trash bags were used to make the nose pieces that were sent to me. Wires protrude from the package and pierce it. Consider how unpleasant it would be to poke a hole in a mask. The elastic is of poor quality and isn't even 1/8" wide; it's rolled and appears to fray easily. It's not going to stay sewed into a seam, in my opinion. I was a little let down.
I used it to sew and give away ear loops for masks. It is quite comfortable and, because it is not constricting, it reduces the pressure headaches that some people experience.
I really like this elastic. Since the outbreak of the virus, it has been difficult to locate materials that could be used to make homemade masks because they are not readily available. This is the only material that works and feels good on the back of your ears.
I washed and dried them in the machine with no issues.
Because it was recently delivered, I have yet to put it to use. I haven't measured the cord's length, but I did count the nose strip, which are garbage bag ties, which I am disappointed about. It was 5 1/2 inches shorter (one was cut in half when it was shipped).
This was fantastic the first time I ordered it! My second order arrived today, and it's not great. The first was packaged, but the second had been wound around a cardboard piece and the elastic had been stretched. When I unwound them, I noticed that the elastic had stretched out and become significantly thinner. It was disappointing.
There is something missing from the package. Please correct and send me nose wires. br> I received my elastic but no nose wires.
When compared to a quarter-inch round, It doesn't tend to make the ears fold outward as much as I'd like, and it's not as strong as I'd like; The 1/4" is much more powerful. I'd like to see a stronger elasticity in the 1/8" cord.
