The needlepoint here is not a tatting. You get the needle, thread, instructions, and tapestry in the package. The kit has been a great purchase for me!

A frame 8" in diameter

An area of five square inches will be printed. However, I recommend a wooden set I bought (I think at Hobby Lobby) that includes multiple wood pieces that can be interchanged, allowing you to make frames of different sizes, square and For the moment, I am lending it to someone, but there are four each of 6", 8", 10" and 12" pieces in it.

There's no way a beginner did that*! Now that I've had a chance to make my own sunflowers, I don't want to hire a professional. The image would be much more impressive if it was.

An orange sunflower

My sunflower has been a lot of fun to stitch. I enjoy working with this yarn because it is colorful and easy to work with. The picture is nice and large enough for a 5x7!.
