It is essentially. No, it's not really like that. In the 18", there are 3/8" of spacing between the pegs. On the 28" the number of holes per inch is seven sixteenths. It is a subjective matter and your preference will be determined by what yarn weight you prefer to use and how large you would like to be able to knit without having to match Both are valuable to me, but I generally use the 28" more than the smaller one. With the yarn I like to use, I feel like the small difference of 1/16 between both board pegs works and looks better.
There is a hook attached to it.
A 28" long board can be used to make an Afghan but it will have to be made up of two or three panels that are joined together. Infinity looms and S looms can be used to make a nice size afghan if they are used as a rake or a double knitting set. Videos are available online that show how to do it. The two things I have done are both of them. Here are some resources that may be helpful
From center peg to center peg, the distance between my knitting boards is 7/16".

I have been loom knitting for about six years. I have a wide selection of looms at my disposal. There are not many large looms like this outside of an Afghan loom and this one is very sturdy and flexible. The first project I ever made was a small afghan that I made using all the pegs to achieve the size I wanted (about as wide as a twin mattress but not hanging over the I found that this long loom didn't produce "bends" in the project when I took it off, unlike some of the others. As it stands, the system is being used to double knit a second blanket that is comprised of panels and is working out very well with that process This is a highly recommended product.
It's easy to use, versatile and sturdy. Definitely the best loom you've ever owned. This is a solid desk with a lot of options. I like that the pegs are permanent but can still adjust in a variety of It is pretty much all that I know about this topic. I think the Martha Stewart looms are more expensive, but they are of better quality.
This item is great, but the pegs are not far enough apart. I marked every other peg with finger nail polish so my yarn would appear thicker. Those two things work perfectly together. The loom is very durable and better than the all-plastic ones. Choosing the size of the project is handy since the project can be sized to whatever your needs are. Beautiful lap blankets can be made from them.
The good thing about it is that it is Projects that are large in scope. A piece of it was broken upon delivery but it was quickly replaced by the company.
The 18" all in one is my first favorite board. This one is my second favorite. Their boards are made well, and I find all of them to be very well made. The needles in my hands are too old for needle knitting, but I can still use these boards to create anything I want.
Several of these boards are available in several sizes and they are very nice! The 28 inch size is great for a large project without requiring you I am fortunate to have arthritis in my hands, so loom knitting is much more convenient for me.
Knitting a sweater by hand with this needle is a great idea. The turn table I bought from Amazon was a lazy susan, and I just bought the legs for it, which were significantly cheaper than the double-knit loom I bought from Walmart.
They have several looms which I use now and more than 95% of all my knitting is done with their 18" all in one looms. I love the size of this piece and would love to have it in.
