It's perfect for making knife scales in my small toaster oven

In order to bake stabilized wood knife scales in the shop, I used to insulate a small toaster oven. I was able to carefully peel apart the 1 inch blanket into two 1/2 inch blankets because it was too thick for my needs. Wear a long-sleeved shirt, disposable rubber gloves, and n-footwear. This stuff is scratchy and leaves small particles when you cut and shape it, even though it has a 95 respiration protection rating. If you don't want to itch all day, wash your clothes separately and then shower. If you've ever worked with rock wool, it'll remind you of it. br>br>Should make my toaster oven temperatures more stable, as before I installed this, it only had air as an insulator.

This was used in a woodstove to replace the insulation. Because an original replacement would be prohibitively expensive, I decided to try this. It was simple to cut down to size and fit perfectly. for a fraction of the cost.

A fantastic fire-resistant blanket! It arrived quickly, was well packaged, and was overall excellent! I immediately put it in my furnace, and it worked perfectly! It has been used three times in my furnace (at 2000°F) and still looks brand new
