Your spacing between threads is just a matter of how widely you space them. If you are making large beads, such as pony beads, you could put a thread every other space in the "spring. " If you are making tiny beads, you would put a thread per spot. It didn't work the first time I used it because one of the screws holding the threads snapped off. It looks like I managed to complete maybe 4 or 5 rows. Weaving beads and textiles have been my hobbies for years, so I wanted to have a small loom that I could weave larger beaded projects on I don't think it was worth the price, the workmanship was subpar.
Nevertheless, the beads are disappointing. I am very dissatisfied with the loom and the beads. A number of the beads in the kit had a smaller diameter than expected. There were many of them who Even though the loom was my main purchase, I still gave 5 stars to this item. A very good job was done in making the loom.
This product is a piece of junk, one of the pegs popped off right away. It has been returned to me. Unlike you, I have experience with bead looms of similar design, but narrower. I have used it for years without any problems, so I am proficient with them. My anchor popped off the 1st time after I tied off the strings on this one. Perhaps it was a bad one, but I'll make my own instead.
I have an expert friend who says it's better than her own!.
For my projects, I have the smaller version of this one, and it was never large enough. That one gets me to where I need to be.
Weaving on the loom is a very simple process that requires no assembly.
My bracelets are very wide, and I made some very wide cuffs.
As a wide loom, it is much more attractive to me than the usual smaller, narrower ones. Despite the fact that I have not used it yet, I know I will like it. This tool looks very sturdy and comes with instructions and a sample design to get you started.
