I've had it for about two months, and it doesn't seem to tarnish very quickly from what I've seen. And several people have handled the spools I have with their bare hands.
18 gauge is equal to one. 237 mm o237 mm o237 mm o237 mm o2 0403 in. My calipers indicate a value of around 1. 045 mm.
This is, indeed, "dead soft" - I've been using it to make necklaces and bracelets.
It's copper wire that hasn't been treated in any way.

The purpose of this review is two-fold. 1) to assist anyone who is new to working with copper wire so they don't make the same mistakes I did, and. . . 2) to refer Copper Wire USA to anyone in need of jewelry wire. br>br>I've ordered directly from Copper Wire USA's website before and prefer to purchase from them (either at their Amazon store or from their website) for all of my bare copper wire needs, and I would highly recommend them to others who need bare copper wire. br>br>The 14 gauge dead soft copper round wire on a spool is good (very good quality, packaged well, speedy delivery, etc. ) but due to a mistake on my part, I should Straightening is just so much easier. I could anneal it, but that's extra work and cleaning I don't want to deal with, so I should've paid the extra $3 for a coil with 10 extra feet of wire on their website. Again, this was MY FAULT because I didn't want to spend $3 extra because I thought it would be ok on a spool, but straightening the kinks out is much more difficult. I should have known better, but I went ahead and ordered it anyway; As a result, I'm going to keep it and use it for texturing.
If you have to unwind a wrap, you CANNOT rewrap it and expect it to hold up over time.
We've only recently gained access to online shopping! OH MY GOD. We were wasting the same amount of money on rolls that were only 26 feet long or shorter! Super happy with the price, and the quality is on par with any other wire if you know how to use it.
This wire was exactly what I was looking for. It's a lot more powerful than I thought it would be. It is simple to work with. Excellent value for money!.
I'm so glad I found this wire because it's extremely malleable and simple to work with. In order to make my jewelry, I bend, shape, and forge a lot of wire. It also works well when combined with sulfur liver. For the price I paid, I believe it provides excellent value.
I highly recommend gray wire wrapped in pure copper wire. as well as any copper wire that this company has to offer for sale. They provide you with the exact amount mentioned in the comments.
I was in the mood for some creativity and made 30 necklaces, which I now have to redo due to the poor quality of the copper. I'm glad I discovered this before I sold any of my artwork! This is a dreadful item!.
I strung a spool of this beneath the eaves and use it as a short wave antenna now. True antenna wire is becoming increasingly difficult to come by and expensive, so I'm not sure how long this product will last, but it's doing the job for the time being.
