I paid $5 for two pins, and BOTH of them were lost. I have no idea how that could have happened, but it did. I took a chance on these replacement backs because there didn't appear to be many options in terms of size, and they fit perfectly and securely. I'm hoping they stay on, but I'm pleased so far.

These have been used on a couple of pins that had rubber backs originally. I haven't tested how well they hold a pin to fabric, but they seem to work fine.
