Other reviews claimed they were flimsy, but I'm aware that some people abuse items before accusing them of being flimsy. So I took a chance, assuming that other people were simply being cruel to them. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no I can't think of a practical application for these things because they break so easily. They can't be used for keys because there's a good chance they'll break and you'll lose your keys. They can't be used to connect anything because even a minor strain will rip them in half. Worse, the broken pieces are small and sharp, and for a while I was finding bits and pieces of them all over my house and yard (I was using them to secure some blankets in a puppy nursery in just one room, so I'm not sure how they ended up everywhere). If you don't keep track of where you use them and check them for breaks and pieces every day, this could be extremely dangerous to animals or children.
I purchased these because I enjoy having special photos displayed on two-dimensional surfaces. I have a variety of sided 'cabochons' that I hang from my handbag to add a personal touch. When I discovered a large number of sketches and watercolors, I decided to make a few for my husband. When we were in college, I made a charcoal of my husband. He used to be a performer on the stage. I attached them to the cabochons and hung them from a jewelry tree that looked like deer antlers. It resulted in the formation of a "memory tree. " My husband was overjoyed and grabbed a few to add to his keychain. br>I thought these would be great because they were easy to put on and off keychains, I could use them on my purse, etc. , and it was a lot nicer than breaking my fingernails all the time. br>However, I was astounded to discover that not one, but two of these clasps had broken within two weeks, snapping in half and not at a jointed part of the clasp. RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT I picked one up and tried to snap it with just my fingers, and I was again surprised at how little pressure was required to break through the METAL; you'd think one of the clasp's moving parts would snap in half, but not so with SOLID METAL. I removed all of these clasps from any items I didn't want to risk losing, and I'm on the lookout for a more durable replacement.
As a result, I ran out of supplies and had to go out and purchase more. YET ANOTHER vendor!.
I like how they came in a plastic box with a lid. They look fantastic on my cosmetic bags. However, I believe they will also work well on my larger purses. If anything changes, I'll let you know. I strongly advise you to do so. br>It's time for a refresher course. I like these even more now than I did when I first reviewed them. I like the quality and, more importantly, the price; take a chance, you'll be glad you did!.
These are what I use to make crafts with. The clip can be used to secure the lip gloss holder to a bag. The clip can be used to keep items on a lanyard as well.
When I make keychains or hand sanitizer holders, I love to use these clips. They can be hung on a display or easily attached to keys or a belt loop. They are the perfect size for my needs and come in a convenient plastic storage case. I'm currently working on my second pack. I would strongly suggest it.
I didn't do my conversions to figure out the size of the key ring, which is extremely small, but that's my fault because the photos make it appear much larger. The lobster claw is exactly what I was hoping for, and it will perfectly suit our needs. We're affixing these to chapstick/lipstick/lighter holders so that they can be clipped to a purse ring or a slim belt loop to keep track of your belongings.
I ordered these to attach to chapstick holders that were given out as team gifts, so that they could be clasped onto each team member's bag. They are extremely effective. So far, they haven't caused us any problems. The price is low, but the quality is excellent.
