It's true, Ann Marie. I use a vent for my dryer. The only thing I did was attach the curved white piece to the back of the dryer and attach the silver hose to it. As my dryer is on my second floor in a guest room with a double bed, Rather than using the window nearest the dryer, I open the window closest to the dryer and attach the hose there. In the winter, I place an old stocking on the open end of the window to catch any lint particles and let the heat from the dryer warm the room in the winter. I stuff an old blanket into the open part while the window is open to keep the air conditioning from escaping. As it was said to be difficult to connect the two pieces with the large bowl that came with or was suggested for indoor venting, it was added to the kit. Once the lint is trapped, you need to add a little water to the bag. That method is more work and requires more steps than the one I'm currently using.

The last company I purchased this dryer from was Avanti. In the past five years, I purchased this dryer from 3 different companies. It was a pleasure working with Avanti. Any dryer that looks like this will have the same logo stamped on it, no matter what company it comes from. This dryer has one big problem it blows the fuse if you use it in a warm room without air conditioning. If you're using it in a warm room without air conditioning, the fuse will blow. Whenever I hear the same story, it never changes. was able to fix this problem, I would definitely give them a 5 star rating. I just received it yesterday, so I have no idea how it will turn out. only problem is that there aren't any dryers of this size. I'd buy a more expensive dryer just so that I wouldn't have to deal with this problem. As this dryer does not heat up as much as the dryers in the past, it is more likely to not blow the fuse. Upon speaking with a Panda representative, I was informed that the fuse was no longer blown. A decrease in heating temperature was made in an effort to combat this problem. Upon further review, I will determine whether the problem has finally been solved in a year.
