I've only had it for a few weeks, but the first time I turned it on, it became very cold. The freezer is a nice size. It isn't particularly large, but it is ideal for keeping some frozen foods. We couldn't find another freezer that was as good as Covid, so we were pleased with it. It was a little more than I expected to pay, but it's a nice freezer.
It arrived when it was supposed to. We left it unopened for a few days to let it adjust from shipping and then plugged it in to make sure everything was working properly. br>It's the perfect size for an apartment, city living, and getting out of a COVID situation. If it continues to work as expected, I will return and give it a 5 star rating.
The whole thing was a lot of fun. A is the grade given to this seller. Communication A, Service A, Shipping time A, Item as described A, and Goods Quality A. THIS IS A KEEPER SELLER. Amazon refunded me after two previous attempts to purchase a chest freezer since April: From A to Z, they're standing behind their warranty. (Amazon never disappoints) I was fortunate enough to come across this seller and his adorable chest freezer. You've heard it said, "If you want something done right, do it yourself. " What you pay for is exactly what you get. Given the size, it was a little out of my price range, but keep in mind that I had previously ordered two freezers that had never arrived. Anyway, this is the quietest freezer ever, it's ENERGY EFFICIENT, COOL AS THE NORTH POLE, and it saves space. ARRIVED IN PERFECT CONDITION, FOUR DAYS EARLIER THAN EXPECTED, BEAUTIFUL AND B L A C K (the color of my kitchen appliances). Dealing with a responsible seller who is COMMITTED to EXCEL and CUSTOMER CARE ORIENTED was the REAL DEAL AND RESTORED MY CONFIDENCE (especially during these pandemic times). You've come to the right place if you're looking for a chest freezer. THIS IS YOUR STORE, AND YOU ARE THE OWNER OF IT. WITHOUT LIMITATIONS, IT IS RECOMMENDED AGAIN. It will be the way they say it will be. THINGS ARE GOING TO CHANGE FOR THE BETTER! (I'm the one who took ten days to complete this review. ).
Although it is not inexpensive, who wants a freezer that does not function properly? Right out of the box, I started running. I've had it for a few months and I'm really happy with it. For me, it's the ideal size.
It was exactly what I was looking for. It's bigger than it appears, and it holds a lot of food. We bought it to make sure we had enough food in case of an emergency. We're very happy with it, and it's now stocked with meats and frozen vegetables.
It appeals to me. This is ideal for me because I don't have a large apartment.
It's small and perfectly suited to my needs. There's a faint hum sound, but it's barely audible.
Based on what I was given, I'll give you some points to answer questions right away:
- 115 volts, 1 amp, according to the back sticker (photo included). It's a 115 watt freezer because of the Volts x Amps formula. I'm sure it's higher when the compressor first turns on. br>- The cord measures 4 feet 9 inches in length. Because it's on the right side, if your outlet is on the left, you'll be short half the unit's circumference.
- I received two baskets instead of one. I like it, but if you're loading the bottom, you'll need a table to put the extra basket on so you can reach it. At the bottom of the baskets, the temperature is closer to 20 degrees than 0 degrees. However, ice cream would probably be a good use for it!
- The dial is set just below 4 (the mid-point) in my initial setup. point). br>br> There were a few holes in my box when it arrived. When you opened the box, there were multiple Styrofoam inserts to keep the outside box at least an inch away. The freezer was not harmed by any of the punctures. br> According to the instructions, you should wait 4 hours and keep the device upright. My freezer had spent a lot of time on the side due to the dirt and grime on the package, so I waited 12 hours with it upright before performing any operations. br> I plugged it in and let it run for the night: When the compressor turns on and off, it makes a clunk noise that isn't too loud. I can't hear it if it's not on. When the unit is actively cooling, a green light will illuminate on the front panel. br> Several thermometers indicated that the temperature had dropped to around 0 to -. 1 degree Fahrenheit br>br>My personal recommendation is as follows: Make sure there's enough airflow around the unit, particularly when it's first turned on and if you've added a lot of non-essential items. foods stored in the freezer The unit can heat up in an attempt to separate the warm from the cold. In these conditions, I used a fan to help circulate air around the freezer, and it seemed to make a significant difference.
