This item is not packaged in such a way that it can be shipped via UPS individually. Only a thin layer of foam protection (the packaging is intended to be shipped in bulk on a pallet). UPS shipping ensures dents and damage to the corners and edges. There is also no good way to return the unit because the packaging is only cardboard around the freezer and not a box. So, as shown in the photos, you get exactly what you see. The unit works fine, but be aware that it may have dented edges and corners.

The outer body of the unit was dented on the front corners, and the paint was chipped when I received it. Metal plating on the underside was dented as well.

This item was purchased and received in December 2020, during a lengthy kitchen remodel. Renovate your bathroom! So, a few days ago, on February 25th, '21, (remod still not finished, covid- Personal health, for example, is number 19 on the list. ) anyways, I plugged in my freezer to work in some overflow from refrige freezer, its compressor did start up, but within 5 to 8 minutes the smell of burning electronics imminently floods the entire house,,, after several failed unplug/re-plug/re-plug/re-plug/re-plug/re-plug/re-plug/re-plug/re-plug/re-plug/re-plug/re-plug After a few failed plug attempts and double-checking the return/refund date, I believe I've purchased the most expensive storage/catch-all. In my life, I've had a lot of boxes. By the way, the freezer arrived in near-perfect physical condition, with the exception of one (1) small ding near the front.

I'm hesitant to order a Chinese freezer over the internet. line, particularly at such a low cost. So far, there isn't anything to worry about. For the past three months, it has performed flawlessly. A stand-alone freezer thermometer reads the same temperature every time - It's unclear how long it will last. br>br>Despite the fact that the capacity is measured in liters, I was pleased to discover that it can hold at least 150 pounds. I've never had a problem with finely ground raw cat food. I haven't had to defrost yet, but I agree with another reviewer who recommends using a blanket over the top because the cover doesn't have a gasketed seal, so some air leakage is to be expected. br>br>Lucky for me, my delivery was Amazon Prime and the unit was in perfect condition when I unboxed it.

The upper and lower corners of the freezer were dented, the lid was bent, and the upper corner had some cracked plastic. The freezer operates quietly and efficiently. Because of the shipping damage, I'm not sure if the door will seal properly.

I wanted to increase the size of my freezer beyond the top of the fridge, but there wasn't enough room for a larger freezer unit. The design of the chest freezer appeals to me. Because this one is nearly counter height, I can use the top for storage or work. Despite the negative reviews, our unit arrived in perfect condition and has been operating flawlessly for several weeks. We have enough space for our overflow, though we had to plan access because the bottom area is a little difficult for me (short) to get to. Overall, it functions well: it is quiet, cold, has a nice design, and is reasonably priced.
