If you only get three months, it's because during the redemption process, you'll be asked whether you want to use regular XBOX LIVE GOLD or convert to GAME PASS, which are two different services. BR>BR>LIVE GOLD: BR>BR>LIVE GOLD: BR>BR>LIVE GOLD: BR>BR> You can use your own games to play online. for a period of 12 monthsbr>GAME PASS: You can play any game in their library for three months, as well as any game you own.
It does not work; when I entered the code, I received a message stating that I should contact the seller because the item had been purchased in a different region. That is to say, this is either a scam or, at the very least, buyer beware. It also means that XBOX has a regional purchase option, which means it won't work anywhere. I believe these were made in Brazil because all of the writing on the back of the "physical" card is not in English. I'm not sure why Microsoft doesn't allow universal use of membership cards, at the very least. Customers are left with the impression that the merchant, Microsoft, and Scamazon have all conned them. It looks like it's time to make the switch to a computer.
Here's what I'm thinking:
1. Microsoft does not want any online codes to be sold for less than what they are currently selling them for, so they keep a tight grip on the price (i.e. It's the same all over the place).
2. When physical cards are sold, they are usually sold for the face value of the card. Microsoft must sell the cards to retailers at a lower price, say $20 less, because they have inventory and distribution costs and still want to make a profit on the sales.
3. A similar deal is offered by Amazon or its vendors to brick-and-mortar stores. On these cards, there are no brick-and-mortar retailers, but they do have lower costs than brick-and-mortar retailers. as well as brick-and-mortar establishments As a result, they can sell these cards for less than face value, which is less than the cost of the online codes. br>The economic incentives are all wrong here, and until Microsoft and other vendors address this, physical cards will continue to be distributed wastefully when selling an electronic code is better for everyone.
Xbox Live is compatible with both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles.

I purchased two of these after seeing them advertised on a deal website and receiving a redemption code via email. mail. I immediately turned on my Xbox in order to extend my Xbox Live membership. I awaited the completion of a system update. I entered the first code, everything went smoothly, and my account was extended for another six months. When I tried to redeem the second code, I got the message "Code already redeemed. " This was less than 30 minutes after I bought it. After the purchase, there is no way to dispute it with Amazon. WARNING: BEWARE!.
XBox does not provide 12-month subscriptions any longer. Live Gold subscriptions are available for a month's worth of service. I was hesitant to buy after reading reviews about people having their 12-month Game Pass Ultimate codes converted to 4-month Game Pass Ultimate codes. br>br>It turns out (after some research) that once you've converted to/activated a Game Pass Ultimate subscription, even if it's just for a trial, you'll never be able to go back to Xbox Live or regular Game Pass, and redeeming an Xbox Live code will automatically convert to a monetarily equivalent Game Pass Ultimate subscription. br>br>If you don't have Game Pass Ultimate or have never activated it, this 12-month subscription is a great way to get started. The code for a month of Live Gold will work. For me, it was a complete success. I'm not equipped with a graphics processing unit (GPU). br>br>DO NOT BUY THIS CODE IF YOU HAVE GAME PASS ULTIMATE, AS IT WILL BE CONVERTED TO 4 MONTHS OF GPU.
I purchased a 12-month Live Gold membership, but it was automatically converted to four months of Ultimate because I had Ultimate active for one more day. This is too expensive and useless for me. I didn't get any kind of notification or anything like that. I contacted Microsoft customer service, but they did nothing, including refusing to issue a refund because I did not purchase Ultimate. I understand that there are no refunds, but that should only be the case if you receive what you ordered. There was no indication that the code would be set to Ultimate when entered. $60 was on the verge of being thrown away. This is something that needs to be addressed as soon as possible. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: I received a refund from Amazon thanks to their excellent customer service. If you find yourself in this situation, you should contact them to see if they can assist you.
Right now, Amazon has left me feeling a little underwhelmed. Because it said it was buy-one-get-one-free, I purchased two (2) of these three-month cards. one- get- one. So, if you bought a three-month card, you got a second one for free. This was not the case with either of them. Following up on my suspicions, I discovered that I am not the only one who has experienced this. It didn't just say "SPECIAL OFFER: It was ADVERTISED as "Get an extra three months with purchase. " br>As a long-time Amazon customer, I'm hoping that this will be resolved soon for all of us.
Attempting to redeem resulted in an error. I read on other media/forums that many other people are having the same issue redeeming. Microsoft said it's a known issue and they're working on it (no ETA at this time). Until they fix this, I guess we're dead in the water.
This was purchased on the 25th of August. Now it says I don't have Xbox Live, but I was able to use the system normally after connecting a new controller. So now I've squandered $25 and won't be able to meet up with my teammates for a game we'd planned.
As you can see from my photos, I had a gamepass and let it lapse before purchasing three years of gold. I waited a few hours after redeeming that and then redeemed a one-month gamepass code. For the price of three years of gold and one month of gamepass, I now have three years of gamepass. If you have an active gamepass subscription and purchase gold, it will convert the other way around! You'll be fine as long as you let it expire. If you don't let it expire, you'll end up like the other one-star reviewers who complain that they only got four months of gamepass instead of a year's worth of gold.
This item is now a complete ruse and false advertisement. I expect more from Microsoft when I buy directly from them, even if it's through a third-party vendor. It's described as a 12-month subscription to Xbox Live Gold. However, it can be redeemed for four months of Game Pass Ultimate (on Xbox and PC). ) I only play on consoles, which means that I only buy game passes for consoles. I could get 6 months of Game Pass Ultimate (for console) for the same $60. ) First and foremost, this item should have been labeled as 12 months of Xbox Live Gold in the first place, because I am not receiving anything for that long. Second, I should have the option of converting it to a console membership or a console and PC membership.
