Xbox Game Pass: 6 Month Membership [Digital Code]

As a hardcore gamer who has grown older and had children, my priorities have unfortunately changed, resulting in much less time playing Xbox than I used to have. I found that I was playing many games months to years after they were released and don't have consistent time to keep up with every new release that I enjoy. I recently gave Xbox Game Pass a try because I saw they have many AAA and indie games that I'd love to play but never got to. I'll never play them all, but it's great to be able to try a game and then decide it's not worth my time in the limited time I have. And they added new games every month, and while they remove games as well, they appear to add more than they remove. The service has 193 games as of the last time I checked, despite the fact that it is advertised as having 100. I've played Rocket League and Riptide Renegade so far, and I've already installed Hitman, Tomb Raider, The Division, and Gears of War 4 (not including games I've tried and abandoned). Choosing which game to play next will be difficult! I don't think I'll be buying a game for a while at $10/month.

I purchased a few of these while they were on sale, but I believe they are well worth the price even if they aren't on sale. Now, I understand that Microsoft doesn't release many exclusives, but despite that, you'll get a lot out of this. If you buy one now, you'll be able to play most MS exclusives as well as third-party games, but you'll also be able to play any new exclusives like Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2, and the upcoming Forza Horizon 4 right away. If you're looking to buy an Xbox One for the first time, this, along with EA Access, is well worth the money.

You get access to over 100 games (usually well over 100) right away, and when Microsoft releases first-party games, you get them right away without having to pay anything extra. Even if they only release three games per year and you only play those, being a game pass subscriber saves you at least $60. You can save even more money if you start when they have half-price sales and buy a few years ahead of time. I paid $30 for a six-month pass and was so pleased that I purchased two additional years. They all stack on the same account, so you don't have to worry about losing any codes; simply apply them all at once. You can plan ahead for up to three years.

So far, I've taken full advantage of the library of games it provides, and I'm looking forward to the day one exclusives on the way. While some people complain about the old 360 games included in this subscription, many of them are still a lot of fun to play. I've even tried games I'd never considered before, such as Warhammer Vermintide 2 and Sea of Thieves, which were both enjoyable. I purchased State of Decay 2 as a result of this subscription. I had a lot of fun with that game, and I still play it now and then to keep up with my progress. It's a great deal in my opinion; if you're on the fence, try the one-month trial subscription; you have nothing to lose.
