We were unable to load the card onto our account, so I spent an hour on the phone with Microsoft attempting to determine why. I took a picture of the card and emailed it to Microsoft as a last resort. Microsoft quickly deduced that the card's failure was due to the fact that it was designed for subscribers in Ireland - The United States is not one of them. As a result, a New York vendor sold us an Ireland-only subscription card with a NH address. We've reached out to the vendor and Amazon to resolve the issue.

What the hell, we got a Middle East-based Xbox Live card? br>br>We tried numerous times without success to get this subscription to work, and Microsoft support was completely useless. br>br>In the end, we went to a Gamestop store, where they looked up the number and informed us that the card was regioned for the Middle East and would not work in the United States. As a result, it was a complete waste of money, and Microsuck offered no compensation.

I received a quick response via email! You must redeem your code on the website rather than on the console. Although the console does not accept outbound or country codes, the website does. I'm sure it's a flaw that will be addressed in the future, but it worked for me. I'm giving it a three-star rating because of the quick response and the fact that it worked. I was hoping for a card that would work on my console and was the US version, but it appears that this one did. If any other issues arise, I will provide an update.
