KontrolFreek Call of Duty Modern Warfare Performance Thumbsticks for Xbox One and Xbox Series X | 2 Mid-Rise, Convex | Blue/Black

Back when the Xbox 360 was new, I had an Evil controller with Evil Sticks, and I loved how much better those sticks felt. I didn't want to pay more for shipping than the product to get a set of Evil sticks for my Xbox One controller, so I came across these and decided they were worth a try. Installing them is a breeze; they simply snap into place. I didn't know where to begin with height, so I chose two mediums; I also enjoy the convex surface of sticks. It takes some getting used to, but I believe it is a significant improvement over OEM. The design on these isn't my favorite, but that didn't stop me from trying them on. They have a similar feel to a hard gel and can become a little slick after extended use, but I prefer the extra surface area over OEM.

First and foremost, double-check that you're purchasing these for the correct console. The first time I didn't pay attention, I ordered PS4 controllers instead of XBox One controllers, and they didn't fit. If you're not already using Kontrol Freaks but want to learn more, click here. these are to be had I needed a change, and a nice mid rise was exactly what I needed. These are fantastic for Call of Duty and feel great in my hands; if you've never used joystick attachments before, they may feel strange at first, but after a few hours of gameplay, I can't imagine life without them. br>br>I had previously purchased a set of high rise attachments, which I found to be overkill. If you've never tried KontrolFreaks before, I'd suggest starting with a mid rise. In addition, I prefer rounded tops to concaved tops, but that is a personal choice.

I decided to give them a try anyway, and they fit perfectly! They were a little tight at first, but once on, they looked and felt fantastic! I will say that they appear to be pushing the joystick's original rubber grip. I'm guessing it's because they're xbox games (I've attached a photo for reference). I'm not sure if this will harm it in the long run, but we'll have to wait and see. In any case, I intend to keep them there indefinitely.

I wanted to wait a few weeks before writing a review because I had heard from others that there is a learning curve with these - I'd have to agree with you. If you've never used grips before, you'll notice a difference right away, but after about two weeks of use, I've noticed my aim improving and my k/d increasing. I have two Xbox controllers and have discovered that when I'm playing modern warfare, I only need one grip on my right joystick (horizontal/vertical view) and leave my left (running) bare, so this pack of two grips was ideal for me!.

These are fantastic. However, they don't work well with scuf controllers. It'll only work if you push it. Scuf has a variety of stick lengths, as well as domed and concave sticks, but I prefer the kontrol freaks. My thumb can't fit on them because they're too big. Please give me more control.

According to the package description, there is an in-game bonus code that can be redeemed in-game. Which is why I bought this product in the first place: after waiting three weeks for my poll purchase, I opened it and there was NO CODE. These codes are on a separate piece of paper inside the packaging, indicating that the seller removed the code before selling the item again. I've bought a few Kontrol Freeks products before, but this is my first time dealing with this seller. There will be no more. Be cautious when purchasing something online.

I wish they were a little more secure on the thumb pads. If you push too hard in one direction (to sprint or dash sideways), you'll fall off. br>br> I bought it primarily to improve my grip, as the stock concave design is inadequate. The piece's texture isn't any better than the stock thumb pad, despite the convex design. br>br>In addition, the piece's added height makes it difficult to tap the right stick's 'X' button efficiently. br>br>It's not 'WOW'ed or particularly good, but it's also not bad.

My 13-year-old was completely taken aback by them. Based on his reaction, I'd recommend getting these for the XBox One gamer in your life. Provides excellent grip and raises the height of the buttons, resulting in less finger fatigue and greater playing comfort.
