I have the same issue with them, and I don't use them because of it. It's inconvenient, but I'm also paying attention.

Let me begin by saying that I love the KontrolFreeks, and as someone with large hands and arthritis, they always make playing more comfortable. However, this has to be my least favorite version of the KontrolFreeks I've owned; the design is great, and they feel amazing to touch, but the shorter of the two constantly spins on top of the joystick. This is the first time this has happened to me with any of my KontrolFreeks. br>Recent changes: After contacting KontrolFreek, I received a replacement pair that works perfectly.
They did make an improvement in terms of color and design. The grip is excellent; it does not slip and does not cause thumb pain.
They're really nice kontrolfreeks, and this is probably my third pair. Outstanding durability and comfort. The set's only flaw is the shorter thumb stick. When I first got them, one of the thumb sticks was loose and spinning around, which was a pain because I had to use one from another set to make them comfortable or use electrical tape to keep the new one from moving. Quality control could be improved upon by KontrolFreeks.
On top of the Xbox joystick, the shorter joystick attachment spins. It's a pain to use because of this. EDIT: br>br> br>I contacted kontrolfreek, who confirmed that the sticks I received were faulty.
On the left joystick, KF spins. It's extremely aggravating. I was able to fix it by gluing it to the joystick with silicone glue. Their quality assurance department should do a better job inspecting these things' molds, especially since they charge nearly $20 for two tiny pieces of plastic with rubber on them.
Before these, I had the Call of Duty WW2 control freaks, which were fun, but after about 2 months, my grip on them became shaky, and my fingers slipped while I was playing. However, it has been over 6 months since I received these and the grip still feels as good as it did the day I received it. What's not to like about these? They come with a bonus title, so what's not to like?.
Bought 2. They're all right. BUT IT IS NOT VALUE FOR MONEY! With tax, they're almost $20 each, and the tall one is discounted on both. On the internet, there are some interesting ways to fix that problem, but I'm not willing to epoxy it or try any of the other solutions.
Low and high zoom ADS had little to no difference, and the taller thumbstick made the transition from right thumbstick to direction pad slower. This item appears to be overpriced in my opinion. Bottom line, I would not have bought it if I had been given the opportunity to try it out first.
