Questions & Answers

How long will these last under normal conditions?

My set lasted only a few weeks before it was completely worn out. Because they were not purchased directly from the manufacturer, there was no support from the manufacturer.

Are these compatible with the Elite controller's sticks?

Yep! I have an elite controller, and it fits all of the interchangeable sticks pretty well.

Will your fingers slip out of this grip if they start to sweat?

No, I bought them for precisely this reason. My fingers were slipping away from the stock pads. This set of pads is fantastic.

This item is NOT a replacement for grips that have been lost
3/5

These work well with the controller's thumb stick, but only if the rubber padding that came with it is still present. If the rubber bit is missing, it will not stay. I have two Xbox controllers that are missing the rubber siding on the thumb sticks, so I purchased these to help with that problem. This isn't the case here. We still had the rubber bit that had torn and fallen off on one of our controllers, in one piece, more or less, so I carefully reattached it to the controller and placed THIS item on top, as it was intended. I'll see how long that works as a temporary solution. br>br>It's a shame they don't just snap on as a replacement for the rubber grips on the thumb sticks; they're low-profile and would work perfectly otherwise; after all, why should I have to game in an uncomfortable position or throw away two otherwise perfectly functional controllers? br>br>I needed a solution that would allow me to avoid having an awkward gameplay experience or spending money on new controllers. Hopefully, someone will make this item in the future. br>br>For the sake of comparison, one controller is for a ten-person team. I chose these low-profile ones because my son is a year old. to make it more comfortable for his fingers The other is for a mature gamer who is at ease with whatever they are playing.

Amazing! Installation was a breeze, and the product performs admirably
5/5

I was hesitant to try these because I had previously used the tall versions on my Xbox 360 controller and disliked the height of my hands from the controller's buttons, but these Alpha models are the perfect fit for me. It took me a few hours to adjust to the change, but wow, what a difference they make. For starters, they make the thumb sticks feel more fluid and usable. They give you more surface area for your thumbs and a greater range of motion, which is especially useful in FPS games. I took them off after a few days to see how the original sticks felt, and I was like "nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, no ", and they were put back on right away. I'll never return to using only the original thumb sticks.

This Analog Cove is Fantastic - For a month or so
3/5

It is impossible to overestimate the value of these items. The analogs on the XB1 are ridiculously small. My hands aren't even that big, so I can't imagine how difficult it would be for a big-handed brute to use them. These KFs increase the analog area of your system and allow non-linear operations. slipping away from the little bumpy things during intense sessions They are easy to put on and remove. For 12. These are 99 of the best. If you're not an Amazon Prime member, I'd even recommend them with shipping; if you ever see them for $10 or less in a store, you'd be foolish not to buy the ALPHAs.
- br>Update 11/26, 2 weeks after purchasebr>br>I'm downgrading the Alphas to a 4/5. They're still highly recommended and do an excellent job. They are non-slip and assist you in playing without slipping. The Rubber, on the other hand, is rubbing off at an alarming rate! Several times during each session, I blow off the controller's black rubber. I suppose I can't complain too much for the price, but I will nonetheless. For at least a month, I expect them to be as good as they were on Day 1. br>br>After two weeks, this is the result - is a comparison from the first daybr>- br>2 Months After Purchase 1/30 Updatebr>I've decided to downgrade these to a 3/5. Here's the issue: for the first week, they were fantastic. The extra analog pad appeals to me, and the price (as I previously stated) appears to be reasonable. However, around the first month, I decided to give the Grip-It a shot. For a kick, it Frogs Analog Covers. For around $5, you get two black and two blue (plus prime). Well, if these things aren't as good as they were on day one, I've ordered another four, and I've removed my Alphas. br>It's not that the Alphas are bad; it's just that the rubber is of poor quality. I'd be willing to try them out again if Kontrol Freek improved the rubber quality, but at this point, if you want a grip on your sticks that LASTS, you'll have to go with something else. , and if you want to keep them safe, use the Grip- sbr>They'll also work on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and, with a little tweaking, the Xbox 360. They ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE PLAYSTATION 3. I'm not familiar with other analogs, and I'm not familiar with old systems.
Link- I'm disappointed in Kontrol Freek because THIS product does not last. br>br>For a KF product that DOES last - I recommend that you use the Phantom Phantom to raise your sticks to make it easier to reach, but I only use it for the movement analog. Even so, I believe I purchased it about a year ago and it is still in excellent condition. It's possible that it rubs off on the alphas because they're slimmer. Maybe they use the same rubber for all styles and just pack it up a little tighter depending on the style.

I seem to be able to aim better and shoot with more consistency
5/5

Here's how things are: br>45-year-old father of two who began playing the Xbox One two years ago to keep up with his two sons. One is 8 1/2 years old and lives at home. who is a master of COD III zombies and an 18-year-old. who is a badass in gaming in general and lives away from home What are the responsibilities of a father? Get your hands on an Xbox One and start playing. br>With that said, I needed to keep up with The Division and ESO (both of which my wife and I are currently playing). ), COD III, Destiny, Ghost Recon, and a slew of other games. br>I was in desperate need of something but couldn't figure out what it was. After hearing about KontrolFreaks, I decided to give it a shot. br>All I can say is that they have aided in my gaming improvement. I aim better, shoot more steadily, move around better, and, most importantly, I don't die nearly as often as I used to. br>All I can say is that during battles, my KontrolFreak on the right sticks occasionally goes flying out of the stick, but I believe this is due to me being nervous and exerting too much force. They're fantastic. From the perspective of a newbie, noob, or whatever label you want to give me, I strongly advise and strongly encourage fathers to play with their children because my bond with them is stronger.

Great grips, but on well-used sticks, they're a little loose
3/5

If you're a frequent user of controllers, (Perhaps 1-) like myself 2 per year) and the edges of your sticks start to wear down, be aware that they may slip and spin a little. Even though the right stick spins a little, the grips are still quite comfortable. I considered stuffing it with a cotton ball or gluing it on to make it tighter. I believe they now make grips with four prongs that are more secure, but I still believe it will slip a little on used controllers.

Tires designed for racing
5/5

Consider them as if you were installing racing tires on your vehicle. Because they are a luxury item, they will wear out faster. However, there has been a significant improvement. Alpha is on the left, and CQC is on the right.
