The taller ones replace torn out pads, while the shorter ones re-use the old ones. Ensure that the stock pads are used. On torn-out pads, the shorter ones fall off.
I did have a problem with the high grips, which are the ones I prefer to use, but that was due to the fact that I had a controller grip skin on top of it. I simply removed the skin and covered it with adhesive grips to solve the problem. I haven't had any issues with cents in the seven months that I've been using the High grips.

The same could be said of me. And after doing so, I came across this fantastic set of silicon replacements. br>br>It's rare to find the words "cheap" and "high quality" in the same sentence. This is, without a doubt, a first for me. They're available in four different sizes and thicknesses, allowing you to customize your gaming comfort. I went with pads that were slightly thicker than the ones that came with my Xbox One controller at the time. It's a little taller and has little nobbies on the sides for added grip. After several months of use, the photos below were taken. It was a relatively inexpensive and necessary purchase that appears to be performing admirably. br>br>In a few months, I'll give you an update on how they've held up over time. As of now, I strongly suggest this product.
warning. This is a fairly lengthy review. The original grip on my left stick had come off, so I bought these to replace it. I first put one of the shorter grips on and "tested drove" it, and as you'll hear in other reviews, they easily slip off. I swapped out the shorter grip for the taller one and noticed that it doesn't really fall off (works fine for gaming), but it is easily removable if I want to remove it. So I put the shorter grip on my right stick (the one with the original grip) and noticed it didn't fall off. So, in the end, the taller ones should be used for thumb sticks that don't have the original grip, while the shorter ones should be used to reinforce the grip that already exists.
For me, these are ideal. On my Xbox One controller, I've got Gam3Gear aluminum thumbsticks. They're fantastic, but they'll callous your thumbs in no time. I now have super strong, long-lasting thumb sticks with super soft, comfortable grips thanks to these covers. The callous that had formed was quickly removed. It was a perfect match.
for approximately two weeks I bought these in the hopes of getting more comfort while playing Xbox One, and that's exactly what I got for a very short time, as the rubber becomes slimy and nasty after only a few uses. It's now more convenient for me to play without them than with them! I spent ten dollars on these, and I hope this comment will save you ten dollars!.
I really like these pads because they are extremely comfortable. My only gripe is that they must be glued to elite sticks; otherwise, the native rubber grips on the aluminum attachments will be destroyed. When I say they DESTROY them, I mean they disintegrate them to the point where they pop off without much of an explanation. br>br>All right, let's get started. If you're a member of the elite. . . Go ahead and get them, but only after you've found the tips you'll be using. Hoss, I'm talking about gorilla glue.
For the past month, I've been using it on a daily basis. For my controller, my husband prefers the larger sizes, whereas I prefer the smaller and medium sizes. These haven't popped off once, despite the fact that my husband is a very aggressive player. I'm very happy with the quality and price, and I'll buy more if I need more for additional controllers (or when the ones I have wear out).
The rubber is of good quality, and the hole diameter is perfect; I slipped it into a regular left thumb stick with no problems, but my dachshund chewed the original rubber off the right thumb stick. br>br> br>br>I tried putting it on the chewed rubber bit in case it needed the extra thickness but it didn't go in right so I ripped off the remaining rubber leaving only the hard plastic thumb stick and stuck a large one on there fit great and hasn't moved or come off and I play a lot of claw and WZ so solid product. br>br>Overall great for not only increasing your stick size but also covering a worn out stick.
My original thumb grips are no longer functional, and after three years of use, they have major tears. I bought another set, but it didn't fit well (and was much cheaper), so I did some research and found this product, which fits really well and has a much better grip than the original, is very sturdy, and sticks to your thumb. The original Xbox One S controllers are highly recommended (I'm using them).
