That's not the case. In fact, they don't appear to be the same as the ones in the photos that I just received. As far as I can tell, that is my opinion. advertisement that is false. But it doesn't really matter because it's still very similar to the Xbox One's original thumbsticks.
The original X1 sticks have the same seams. At least, there were on mine.br>I used to own an X1 controller, and I removed the sticks from it to use on my DS4 controller. These sticks were purchased as a replacement for the ones that came with my X1 controller.
Back then, there were only two of them available. br>At qty, there are no originals. 2 is no longer an option. br>Originals are the most comfortable and durable.

I swear there are times when I don't get any Amazon reviewers. Because of the positive feedback, I decided to purchase these instead of others. Today I got them. It comes in a small ziplock bag with no instructions (because you should know how to do it by now, right?). The screwdriver provided to remove the teeny-tiny screws is non-removable. Because the screws are magnetic, reassembly is a lot of fun, especially when you're trying to balance one on the tip of the screwdriver while moving it into place. All of this could have and would have been easily forgiven and forgotten if they just felt nice on the fingers, but they don't. The Originals had a nice rubbery grippy texture to them. These are made entirely of plastic, which I'm sure will irritate the hell out of my digits after a few hours of intense gaming. br>br>It makes me wonder about Amazon reviews at times. Whether you buy them or not is a matter of personal preference. To me, it makes no difference. I just wanted to shed some light on the not-so-funny side of things. I never saw any mention of the perfect aspects.
Is it possible to figure out which one is the new thumbstick? I'd never had to disassemble a controller before, but I was able to find instructions online (ifixit. com). com) that were relatively easy to understand. The included instructions were also helpful, but because I didn't want to mess up my controller, I also used YouTube as a source of additional information. I did, however, end up messing it up in some way. There are plastic tabs on the underside of the left and right sides of the controller that you can unscrew with the included tools after you've unscrewed all the screws holding the controller together. Slowly pry the controller open with your hands and rock it back and forth. If you apply too much force, the plastic tabs that hold the sides together will be broken. How did I figure that out? One of the tabs was broken as a result of my actions. The controller, thankfully, is still in good condition. In any case, you can see my finished work if you look at my picture. One thumbstick only had to be replaced. On my controller, I kept the original, undamaged thumbstick. Can you tell which one is the genuine article and which is a knockoff? These replacement thumbsticks are as close to the originals as you can get. I had to replace the left-hand thumbstick.
These are made of hard plastic that has been molded in a single mold. The injection mold's edges may have a ridge that will require some light sanding to smooth out. The small bumps on the stick's outside closely resemble those on the original controller. The bumps aren't the same rubber as the original sticks upon closer inspection, but once you've used it for a few minutes, you won't notice. While you may be able to find cheaper alternatives on Amazon, these are truly excellent. The tools included with the thumbsticks are ideal for opening your controller without causing damage to the shell.
On my Xbox One controller, I needed a left thumb stick to replace the one that had been nicked in some way. I bought a set of replacement thumb stick covers to try to replace the rubber ring. The artwork for the covers was a farce. The covers were too big and kept falling off during the performance. I contacted the seller, who advised me to not press too hard on the stick, so I returned the covers and bought this set of replaceable thumb sticks. These sticks were simple to install (see online video), fit perfectly, and I couldn't tell the difference between them and the originals. These thumb stick replacements for an Xbox One controller come highly recommended.
For my Dualshock 4 (Playstation 4 controller), I got these from Kotion Each 10 days ago. They were simple to put together and look fantastic. The sticks are taller than regular DS4 sticks, according to some reviews. These were used to play Rocket League on my PC and, later, my PS4. I'll admit that I've played a lot of Rocket League in the last ten days, almost entirely on these thumbsticks, and I'm disappointed to report that the left thumbstick's grip has completely worn down, as shown in the picture (the right stick is still brand new and can be used as a comparison). I wiped most of the rubber dust off the grip on the left, but some remains visible in the photo. By comparison, it took almost three years for my original PS4 sticks to wear out, and even then, it was only in a small area rather than all over. I'm going to experiment with metal thumbsticks. br>br> br>br>I gave two stars instead of one because the sticks were extremely comfortable to use and I believe they improved my game (though if they did, the metal sticks will also help).
