It's not like that at all. In addition, it is designed to hang on the wall and if it is just set on a desk top the controller grips will touch the desk and the controller will not work. The charging block is in contact with the device. I am not sure what the best placement is, but maybe you could hang it on the side of the desk. Even so, I do leave the controller on the unit. You don't need to worry about that.
Dear Dakota, Thank you very much for your As part of your Xbox Elite Series 2 package, you already receive a magnetic charger. Hence what you need if you also have an Elite 2 controller is this dock. It fits inside the included carrying case and is removable without any hassle. There may also be third party companies that sell clones of the Dock on Amazon, but the wall mount has only been tested and approved with the original XBox OEM dock and we cannot guarantee compatibility with the rest. I would like to extend my kindest regards to you,
Yes, I am sure to. The charger sits on top of the chat pad (full Qwerty keyboard) and is securely attached to it.
You can use the charger for the Xbox depending on what you mean. With this controller there is a wall charger cable that runs from the charging block Its own function is to serve as a charger, so it is not included.

It is a cheap and effective way to mount chargers and controllers. Although this is made of plastic, it is made from a very thick and I think the angle where the controller sits at is a bit off and the best thing to do is to tweak that slightly, so it isn't taken off by even the slightest touch. We'll see if that causes any problems in the future, as well as having to bend the cable almost at a 90 degree angle in order to plug it in. I also enjoyed the fact that it kept my phone's charger out of the way while charging, and it gave my TV stand a clean look. Although it is a little pricey, one can't go wrong with it. It holds and charges your Elite Series 2 with a stylish look. ES2 wall mounts are the best bang for your buck if you're looking to.
Very nice but the angle was a bit steep for my liking. I had to plug in the cord before placing in the mount and I was still unsure that the cord wouldn't break The angle seemed to be too much it didn't work, but still a little too much. I was satisfied with the outcome in general. I appreciate it.
One word of caution, however You can use it to hold your charger for the game When the controller is plugged in to the charger, it sticks. There is a magnetic attraction between them. Unlike when you swipe a controller by accident, the item won't catch/hold you if the item isn't designed to do so. Just don't expect it to be It is highly recommended and I will purchase another controller in the near future.
The unit came with everything needed to mount to the wall and was a snap to install. Unless it gets hit hard, the controller shouldn't have any problems staying in place due to the angle it's set at. Nice, I really like the fact that the controller is off my desk and now I have more room. I would definitely recommend it.
Charging my controller in its case is actually one of the greatest features of the device. The be entertainment center, however, has been reskinned, and several controller mounts have been added. With the combination of Microsoft's ingenuity and the ability to safely hangout on the wall of the cabinet, the concept is pretty neat.
I was able to slip it on My t is positioned right below this. I love the way it looks. Despite its not being the strongest magnet, the magnet does the job and keeps my Elite Series 2 in place. The Elite series controller would be bought again if I purchased a second one.
The controller works really well, but I would love to see more than just magnets to hold it in place. The only thing that will knock them off is a small bump.
I would give it five stars, but it is a little too slant so it is easy to bump the controller. As I now use a cable line, I haven't used this anymore, but it's not so Getting an angle is better if you just find a way to do it.
