Obviously, the battery has to be charged in order for this to work. The battery eventually begins to fail, just like any other. Sadly, this whole setup is hindered by the fact that these guys do not sell their own special battery pack one that has exposed metal connectors. In all communication with their support team and via their Twitter account, I was ignored. As soon as I have this $50 controller stand, I will stick to the Microsoft Play & Charge Kit. You can also rely on any other company whose products are guaranteed by them.
There is no option to purchase replacement batteries with this company. In other words, you have to buy the entire kit all over again when it dies after a year. I can't believe how wasteful this is!.

As for the battery pack, it lasts a MINIMUM of 8 hours. While I do drop it on the charging stand from time to time, and I keep the battery at maximum capacity, I haven't experienced a battery drain over these 8 hours. In addition as with any wireless controller I've used, sometimes the wireless controller seems to lose connection or needs to be powered down. It may be a problem with Windows 10 Bluetooth rather than the controller. I've never seen a controller like this.

The color scheme and feel of this controller look the same as those of Kait. This is a must-have for me since I'm a huge Gears of War fan. I like that the controller can be mounted, making it look nice, while being charged at the same time.
