It will work if you have a PS3 disc. The "creatures" do not have a console preference. Only the disc is included.
It should work as long as it specifies that it was designed for this system. I can't find anything on the package that specifies which operating system this one works with.

This game was a Christmas present for my daughter, and I've only caught glimpses of it as my children have played it, but it's all they talk about. In comparison to MW3, this is a welcome change. So when I asked them what rating they thought I should give, they unanimously said 5 stars. I can tell you that the game's graphics are rich, and the characters are as interactive as they should be, based on what I've seen so far. In terms of this order, I was extremely pleased. It didn't take long to arrive, and it was in perfect condition when I got it. I'm not going to comment on the price of any of the Skylander figures I've bought online because you can't get them in stores (stores can't keep them stocked up fast enough), so you'll have to pay more if you buy them online. Supply and demand. I work in retail, so I understand.
I received an open package. When I opened it, the backing came off, the plastic part opened, and the skylander fell out as if it had been opened before. By the way, try gluing plastic to the top as if it were glue or something else to keep it together. Now, giving someone an open gift isn't the best idea. Instead of sending items that appear to be new, how about sending new items? To have to send it back and order a new one is a huge pain.
Flameslinger is okay, but if you're collecting all of the Skylanders from Series 1, you should get him instead. He reminds me of Legolas from Lord of the Rings because he has an endless supply of arrows with fire on them and is an elf. He also has this strange attack where he can run around and track fire, and if he makes a full circle, a large pillar of fire appears. Cool. However, it is extremely difficult to achieve this.
It was a hit with my grandson for Christmas, and the material is of excellent quality. I would buy it again.
Who profits from these occurrences? Every week or so, it appears that we purchase one. They're fantastic, and we've never had a problem with any of them. They're used by my boys, and I'm fine with them as long as they're happy. Flameslinger is an enjoyable character to play.
