What a waste of time. Charges when controller is plugged in but not when not. It doesn't matter how I plug in the battery, which way I plug it in, or how long I plug it in. I have left the device on multiple times overnight, but it only charges to 10% each time. You have to be super careful with it. A 0 shift would be indicative of a dead battery. The battery will not charge if it is less than 5mm.
When it was charged for the first time, I played Assassin's Creed Valhalla until the warning for low battery appeared. Now that it has been plugged in for three days, I keep getting a low battery warning every time I disconnect it. There is no charge on it and I have tried the console's USB, the wall adaptor, leaving the controller on, turning it off, but nothing works.
It does not light up during charging on the controller, so there is no indication that it is even charging. You only hear a slight rumble when it is plugged Furthermore, when I open the Xbox Game Bar on PC, the battery indicator shows a low level, even though I know I had this thing plugged in and charging for hours. I understand the Game Bar indicator was made for AA batteries, so it is not reliable for rechargeable batteries. There is a problem, and it should be fixed, as the rechargeable battery is licensed by Xbox and is compatible with I like the fact that it comes with USB C rather than Micro USB, and I like how the Bluetooth function works really well. There is also a good length of 9 feet provided by the cable. It is recommended that you update the controller's software by using the Xbox Accessories App after it has been charged a bit (again, unless you own an Xbox, it is impossible to determine how much charge you have).
In terms of functionality when gaming, this pack is backwards compatible with older controllers, but I have been using it with the new SX As far as I can tell, they kept all the great things about the Xbox One controller, and only slightly refined them. In my opinion, it is the most powerful controller ever created. Therefore, there's no need to change a thing. I would appreciate it if you fixed the Game Bar on PC so we can see how much battery is left in the controller! You could use a plugin that allows you to add a widget to the Game Bar that allows you to change my review from 3- to 4-stars. The best rating is five.
I will not hold a charge against you! Not happy at all.
These are the batteries I looked to for saving myself from having to buy numerous batteries after purchasing an Xbox Series X. Currently, I have one of the original Xbox One play and charge kits (the one with micro usb) and it works perfectly, so having such high expectations for this one was a disappointment. Unfortunately, this one is terrible and did not live up to those expectations in the slightest. They will still run out of power even if I leave them plugged in for hours. A charging indicator has also been built into the old kit so that you can see it is charging while the console is off, and it will turn white when the controller is Unlike these, they don't have such a feature, leaving you little to no clue as to whether they are Don't buy these kits, that's basically what I'm saying. Look for a different way to recharge. It's a waste of money to buy these and a complete waste of time.
The picture illustrates how much the battery was charged after being plugged in for 8+ hours.
UPDATE the battery is now fully charged. As soon as I got new ones from my local GameStop, they appeared to work perfectly, so I decided to up the rating As I saw a few other people experiencing the same issue as me, it appears that Microsoft is experiencing issues with their battery packs. Thus, you need to take responsibility for the purchase It's possible that the product works great, but there is also a risk of it being.
I was annoyed by it, but eventually I was able to figure it As most people are reporting, I was unable to charge the battery pack using the new Series controller on my PC. In order to update the controller's firmware, I used the Xbox Accessories App. As a result, the charging functionality seems to be working correctly. Moreover, people were complaining that the cord no longer had a charger indicator, and it was impossible to tell how much charge was left in the battery. In Windows 10, you can view the battery level in the Bluetooth settings page as shown in the photo below. A USB-based device Compared to the Play and Charge kit on the XBox One, the C makes a nice change of pace. As a result of being annoyanced by the item not working out of the box, I removed one star It's time for Microsoft to step up!.
With my battery pack, it came out of a box still sealed with the wrapper. Still, it appears to be used based on its appearance and feel. A lot of surface scratches and sticky residue are present on this item. I have a hard time using it because it seems so strange.
It is clear from the product I received that it had been opened previously. Despite the tape on the box having a couple folds to it, the box was still in good shape. It has a USB port I noticed the c cable was just stuffed back in the box without anything to hold it together like plastic wrap or a twist tie. There is no problem with the battery. It is not the product's fault that it is rated one star on Amazon.
