Selected User Reviews For Turtle Beach - Ear Force X32 Wireless Gaming Headset - Amplified Stereo - Xbox 360 (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I recently purchased this headset because I already own two wired X11 headsets and wanted to upgrade to some wireless ones since the wire on the X11 was ridiculously long and not needed for my gaming since I sit about 5 feet away from my television when I play
5/5

I just wanted to say I really like this headset. Before I bought it, I looked at a lot of reviews so as to make sure it was worthwhile paying $100 for it. A lot of people complained that it was creating static constantly and others that the game sound and voice chat constantly dropped out. My first reaction was to be afraid, but I ultimately tried them out. My X32's have been with me for almost a month now, and I haven't encountered a single technical issue that has caused me to believe I made the right To keep the review simple, I will write as follows Among the Pros For the most part, there is a very strong connection between the two. A very reliable wireless connection comes with the headset. +The sound and voice chat are clear as day, and the audibility is excellent. main difference between this and a typical headset is that it is much more comfortable. I can no longer stand to chat The auxiliary port allows the use of mobile phones. The music while I am playing is just what I need. Everything from the game sounds to the chat and music blends together It has a nice battery life. I bought some rechargeable batteries so I get long periods of time between battery changes. The headset says when to change the batteries after approximately 20 hours of use. The cons - However, it does occasionally produce a few minor hiccups in the connection that last no more than a few seconds.

- Even though I am not bothered by it at all, I decided to list it as a con. If the volume is turned up high and there isn't a constant sound coming in, it does produce static. Therefore, if you're watching a movie with the volume up, the movie may have some static during quiet scenes. It's not enough volume for the static to be a nuisance, but I never play, watch, or listen to anything loud. *** This may seem inconvenient to some, but it may be extremely irksome to others. - - - Wearing it for a long period of time can sometimes be uncomfortable. However, I could be the only one. - - - There are some times when it takes a while to adjust the volume balance between the chat and game sounds even though the chat and game sounds are very vivid. My friends' voices are being drowned out by the game if this is not done the game cannot be heard over their There is however a simple solution to this problem. - - - There are a few very minor and insignificant inconveniences, but these do not detract greatly from the overall experience. A common example is that people you are talking to can hear any sound you make near your microphone. The window next to yours will probably pick up loud noises from outside, so if there is one open, the noise will probably be heard. It is my hope that you will find this information helpful in deciding whether There were no issues for me because my setup was so simple and there wasn't much room for error or interfering It is possible for more complex setups to run into issues that I do not face. All I know is that they perform well.

We would be remiss if we did not mention it is fragile
3/5

During this review I will update it. As soon as I purchased the headsets, I wrote my original 5-star review. Due to the fact that they aren't sturdy, this edit had to be performed. Just over a few months, I found that the plastic had become very brittle and cracked. I'm not sure what type of plastic was used. It was just a fluke, so I got another pair of shoes My purchase of 2 more pairs of battery covers that were missing the battery cover resulted in the same result. In the bay, they also broke, and I have glued them and reassembled them There is an interesting phenomenon that occurs where the glue is applied - the paper typically holds fine, but breaks adjacent to the glue. You can reach me via e-mail Having mailed the plastic company, I tried to explain how the packaging was damaged. As I'm sure you can tell, the response I received was completely ignorant on their part. So it's no wonder they put out a subpar product. These headsets would be excellent if the plastic was not so awful. Because all turtle beach products contain the same plastic, please do not buy any turtle beach products!.

Your wife will be very pleased with the price and quality of this item
5/5

The headphones aren't Bose, but they do a pretty good job considering their price. They're certainly not Bose quality, but they do a decent job considering their price. My wireless transmitter operates 30 feet line of sight. I walked from my living room into my kitchen (separated by a wood wall) and the signal Nearly 20 feet away with a wall between us, I was watching the game. Unless you have a very large room, these would only be useful if you have a straight line to the ceiling The site is set up. So far, I have got about 8 hours out of these headphones and I have not heard or seen any indication that they are low on batteries. My memory hasn't been so sharp lately, so I can't really decide what the best "wide/narrow/normal" setting is. It seems like you lose some important piece of the picture if you don't just keep it on "normal". decent I especially like the setting that boosts both bass and treble at the same time. Also, can you put a price on your wife not having to constantly hear gunshots and rumbling racecars?.

A headset that works is a good thing! The headsets I have used have always given me problems
5/5

There would be some that would not work, some that would be missing parts, or some would be violently torn out and stolen. It's a great headset, though, and I was happy to receive it. I have not ripped the cord out of the headset as often since dropping the controller due to its amazing sound quality. It fits over my head nicely and I don't have many incidents with the headset coming unplugged. As part of the package, the headset came with a Bluetooth adapter. The adapter connected to the back of the console, and a cord connected This is the only way. A con is that the ear muffs (depending on how sensitive your skin is) can cause pain or discomfort around your As soon as I wore the headset for the first time, the back of my ears and around my ears itched terribly. Although at first it was a little uncomfortable, it did go away after a while. The headset was shipped quickly and the instructions were clear on how to set it up. You just need to follow their instructions to a T.

It's worth the wait
5/5

The wireless component wasn't quite as great as I had expected, as it still needed to connect to the controller to allow remote Due to the fact that I currently have the Xbox connected to the television via HDMI, I also needed to get a cable for audio and optical transmission. Connect this adapter cable to the AV port of your Xbox, then run the provided cable (included with your headphones) through the red/white RCAs to the adapter, and it will output a 3. 5mm audio plug on the other end. This end connects into the turtle beach pairing box with a 5mm audio jack. These headphones have really improved my gaming experience because I used to use the cheap ones that came with my Xbox, however, now I have the option to mute the TV and listen to everything through my The audio quality is excellent. Upgrade to the Turtle Beach DSS2 box is on my mind. I'll get back to you on that, but not.
