Questions & Answers

What are the chances that this will work on Xbox One?

You can use this headset with the Xbox one s, but you have to buy the Xbox one s A 5mm female connector is connected to a 3mm male connector. There is a male 5 mm adapter on the cable. A similar one works well if you have a new Xbox one remote that works with the device. I bought mine on Amazon for less than $6. didn't have to buy the Xbox adapter kit that cost $25 to $35 A 35-dollar donation.

Will this work with a PC as well? Plugging it in is what I mean. ?

It is true. Most of the time, I use it on my PC, and it works great. The green and pink wires will plug into the headset jack, the usb will plug into the keyboard jack, and the green wire will hook up with the headset!

When using these with an Xbox 1, there was a comment about having to buy an adapter. How can I find out which adapter I need to buy if this is true?

It would be necessary to buy a Microsoft Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter for Colette. It would be a good idea to consider the XO ONE, which comes with an adapter if you only need a headset for the Xbox One and mobile apps. By the time you add the Microsoft adapter and the X12 headset, you are looking at similar expenses. Compared to the previous set, this one is cleaner. With only one cable connecting the adapter to the controller, the XO ONE has only one cable running to it. In the X12, you would find both of those, as well as the back of the console running with cables.

Excellent headphones
5/5

I recently purchased a second pair after my first pair of these headphones died after about four years of service.
When I first purchased pair #1 (henceforth known as Harold), I needed a headset for an Xbox 360. As a result, I decided to find something inexpensive but still had decent audio and a decent microphone. All three points were hit by the X12 and that was the end of it. My chat back cable had some issues at first and I had to get a replacement, but it wasn't a lot of trouble. Every time I've had to contact Turtle Beach's customer service, it has been great. * Later, I became more into PC gaming, and Harold became a headset for the PC. During the transition, there was no visible break. In my opinion, the X12 is a pretty durable model. There have probably been 500 drops (mostly on carpet) over the course of 800 miles and and about 500 miles of travel. end because I sometimes slide the earcup off of my ear while listening to the world around. Over time, this put strain on the headband, causing it to break Yes, that's what I said. This is not a good idea.
I have purchased a couple of x12s from other people as gifts, including my boyfriend who has had his for almost two years without any As of now, I've been wearing this new pair for a couple of weeks now, and so far I am pleased. Because I was familiar with the device, I still chose the X12 even though I had a larger budget this time. As for other headsets I've tried here and there (such as the Razer Kraken headset my ex kept on talking about constantly), I wasn't even This headset would be a good option for people just getting into Turtle Beach and/or who are looking for decent quality that won't take a lot out of their pockets.

In this comparison, the Turtle Beach X12 versus the Gulf Coast X24
5/5

A comparison of Turtle Beach XLA and Turtle Beach XLA2. The Titan Comparing three entry level gaming headsets for Xbox 360 will be the focus of this review. These are Turtle Beach X12, Turtle Beach XLA, and the Turtle Beach In my quest to find the best gaming headset under $50 that allowed chat and game sound, my goal was to find the highest quality headset. The three of these I bought from Amazon at the same time to take a look at all of them. As of the time of purchase, this is the price of the item. A Turtle Beach XLA is as follows A 29-dollar bill. I have created an archive for version 62 of Turtle Beach X12. Is 42 dollars. The Triton Trigger is simply as follows A 49-dollar bill. There are no differences between these three headsets other than the price. I'd like to bring the review to a close. The main differences between the X12 and the Triton Trigger are their usage and the fact they are both over-ear headphones. For people who wear glasses, the XLA is more comfortable because it is on the ear style. As the triton features smaller ear cups and a tighter fit, you will find it uncomfortable if you have a large head or large In addition to sound isolation, the triton covered a greater area than the other two - however, with no Mic monitoring, I found myself talking loudly. *** * * The advantage is I strongly suggest using Turtle Beach headsets because both have Microphone Monitoring - a nice but non-adjustable feature that I believe is essential. Microphone monitoring allows you to hear yourself as you speak into the microphone. Closed-toe shoes come in a variety of styles Wearing back headphones makes it difficult to hear yourself talk and you end up shouting as a result. By using the mic monitor, you can avoid that side-effect. *- The advantage is To work with the Xbox 360 you must use self-amplifying headphones. In order to utilize Turtle Beach headphones, your headphones must be self-amplified. Due to the fact that Xbox game audio can only be obtained either through analog or optical digital output, there is no way to get audio from the system. A digital signal can be decoded and converted without the need for an external box by integrating the hardware in the signal In these headsets, a line amplifier is built in. As a result, these speakers do not support surround sound unless an external add-on processor is used. Then, add this.

The sound is great and the immersion is complete
5/5

It has been reported that these headphones are not very popular, but I love them. A wonderful sound is coming from the speakers. far as buzzing goes, I have the headphones plugged into an amplifier with a moderate volume, so of course the headphone volume doesn't need to be turned up when the headphones are on. When you plug in the inline amplifier, you will get a lot of noise as a result of the boost of the low signal. This is normal and not a fault with the I didn't expect the immersion of sound to be this I took off the headphones and found myself checking the door as I thought someone had broken into my house, so I took them off again. I then realized that it was a sound from the cutscene I was watching on YouTube. There is a great feature in this app that allows you to adjust game and player volume. In addition, I purchased a ChatPad, which allows me to adjust party conversations more easily.

I really enjoyed these! Back in 2010, I bought a pair of these
5/5

It has been a while since I remember the Anyway, I have had these for a little more than 10 years and have used them quite heavily every After that, they were used on a PC and a Xbox 360. It was amazing how good they sounded. These were the best headsets that I have had since I got my new one, which isn't these. I picked them up for $25 plus tax. After the headband near the earcup snapped a couple years ago, I just used some epoxy to fix it and they remained in good condition for another couple of I keep them stocked in case I need a headset in the future right now, I am using a more expensive headset and I keep these stocked as backups. I love turtle beach products, but these will forever be my favorite. I'm not even a fan, but these don't fit me well at all and sound so good. My experience with other TB products has been unsatisfactory, as they did not sound as good as these ones even though they were more comfortable. A great price was offered at the time I purchased them as well. Despite their lower price tag, these headsets beat many higher-end models.
