Here are some instructions that are more precise. The first phase of the project has been successful. After installing it and tweaking things, we're ready to go. We've been using the G29 Logitech mouse. There is a sturdy feel to it. People do not have it wrong, but the instructions are deficient. have tried to make some steps for you (if you wish to add the shifter, I assume that you can figure that part out since we didn't use it). With curved arms, the base has an oval shape. Considering it seemed to work either way, we used the square holes facing the outward direction of the foot pedal area. Step 2 involves sliding the angle poles into the curved arms by pressing them on from the bottom. Bottom bolts and nuts (large hex) connect. Top holes are for hand tighteners (so you can easily adjust)*. The process can be done with one's back to the light or facing outward both work. It should, however, be level with the ground at the top of the brackets. The bolts are short and have nuts on the ends Using the hand tighteners, you can choose the height at which you want the wheel to be. This is the third step Place the pedals on the base plate, not the frame, and then assemble the frame. If the plate is removed from the frame, it will be much easier to fit the bolts and screws. Make sure to use the little rounded head bolts as well as the small hex screws. •Copy and paste each step into Microsoft Word. The long bolts should be used at the bottom and the medium bolts should be used at the top of the plate. In our opinion, it is best when the bottom is set. It would have been better if there were a third set of hand fasteners, but this does the trick for now. In Step 5, we will Generally, it requires two screws to secure the feet to the base This is the sixth step The wheel should be attached to the top plate with the hand tighteners. The height should be adjusted as necessary. Cords can be held in place with velcro straps. You're off to a good start! My thanks go out to those who posted photos of the screws, it made it a lot easier to understand.
As a result, the instructions weren't precise enough, and I sometimes wondered why some holes aligned, or what the shifter holder's purpose was, or if additional screws were needed. When you receive the product, I suggest coming back to amazon and zooming into the product images. That is pretty much what helped me, and I found that this does come complete there are no extra screws or holes. My patience paid off in the end as it took me about 2 hours to figure out what I needed to do. I weigh 270 lbs and am 5'11", yet this foldable mat is sturdy enough for me to use, so I would recommend it Although I wish it had a better instruction manual, I got rid of my previous seats as they were too low and uncomfortable especially with the metal rod between the ankles. This was much more of an issue when pedaling which is why I love my G920.
As a result, I ended up having to build it twice since I put every part and screw in backwards at first until I figured out how to do it the right In order to understand the pictures in this listing, I looked at mine, but they are not the same as my own. As a result, I posted a photo showing how mine looks to hopefully be of help to you. The rest of it is very sturdy and solidly built, and doesn't move around while in use.
The product works fine you'll need a little creativity to assemble it, but it's not difficult. Despite other reviews to the contrary, the product feels quite robust. The bolts need to be tightened down so that it holds together very well. Materially, the pedals are rigid, but the pedal plate will bend under normal use, but not in normal use. This is a good stand for those looking for a stand that won't break the bank. Overall, I am very happy with it. As long as you already have the wheel and pedals, you should invest in a good stand. I'm happy with it, and I'm also glad I didn't try to go the real cheap DIY route, as it wouldn't have been as satisfactory.
Looking at other tutorials would be a better idea if you generally need instructions in order to build something. There was no use for the instructions included. To put it together, I had to look at the photos on this site and figure out how to do it through trial and error. In addition, a lot of the parts are dirty/oily, so you'll have to clean them before you mount anything to them or place them anywhere nice, plus you'll have to wash your hands. The product looks great and feels great as well.
For the money, this is a pretty good stand. Having the ability to fold it up and store it out of the way is great. In the end, it took me thirty minutes, and I had to keep looking at the instructions to figure out which way to go with each part. There are horrible instructions, but at least there was an exploded view of the stand so that I could see which parts were connected to which. In this case I had to guess where each screw should be inserted since the instructions were so bad. The pedals could act as a counterweight, and it might actually fall because it would tip forward without them. It's not a bad stand for the money other than the instructions and the concern that it might tip. Everything has been tightened up really well so there's hardly any wobble left in it and the whole thing feels nice and comfortable. Those on a budget seeking a stand will find it to be a good option for the price. The shifter support can be mounted on either side of the stand, so anyone wearing glasses can move it left or right with ease.
