The bar, for example
4/5

On days when we can't get out, my husband and I exercise with a Wii and a Wii balance board. During a move, we had to store our television, and by accident, we left the sensor bar in storage. We missed the fun exercise and decided to buy another bar for the television we bought while renting until our house was built; we looked around and decided not to buy a wireless because of the battery issue. We came across this bar and decided to give it a try because of the low price and positive reviews. We haven't had any issues with the performance of this item once we figured out how to hook it up through the cable dvr box and so on. The reason I gave it a four is because it came wrapped in bubble wrap that was so tight and taped up that we almost had to destroy the bar just to get it off. We also couldn't use the two-sided tape because it had already been removed. We had to improvise to keep the bar from falling off because we're on a crawlspace in this rental and the vibration from some of the exercises causes it to move. The bar we received appeared to be used rather than brand new. I was going to return it, but the price was so low that I decided to keep it because I'm sure the return shipping would be more expensive than the purchase price. The company that sold it offered to credit my account or send me a new one, but I declined because the one I already have works. I was asked by the company to remove my negative review, but I want people to know that you might not get a new one, but it will most likely work, which is what I am most concerned about, so I will not do so. I believe that if you have a problem with this item, the company will work hard to resolve it, but the condition of the item is why I rated it a four. I would have given it a 3 if the company had not attempted to correct the issue and instead given it a 4. The cost is low, but the quality of the product is satisfactory to me.

It's exactly like the movie
4/5

After the one that came with my computer died, I, like many others, needed to get a new Sensor Bar.

After a little stumbling, it works fine and I would recommend it
5/5

The unit appeared to be dead to me. I wasn't about to send it back for a few dollars. Email has been sent- The company offered to resend or refund the order right away. br> HOWEVER, THE UNIT DOES WORK AND APPEARS TO BE EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE ORIGINAL. We were given Wii cables with the intention of unplugging the console and using it in another room on occasion. I didn't want to have to move the sensor bar very often. When I switched out my working old sensor bar for this new one, the new bar didn't seem to register, showing a 'hand. 'br>I figured someone would eventually break the fragile wire. I eventually tried again and discovered that with my original bar, I could stand closer (but not close enough for actual play). I was probably way too close when I was attaching cables and trying to set this up. Especially when setting up a new bar for the first time. When I took a step back, this did get a 'hand' and was clearly working. I appeared to be aiming far to the left at first. However, I selected Wii Setup, and despite the fact that I made no changes, the wii remote appears to have correctly triangulated. There are no longer any issues, and it appears to function in the same way as the original.

Wii sensebar is a controller for the Wii
5/5

I was desperate to find a replacement for the original sensor bar that came with our Wii after having an unfortunate accident with the vacuum cleaner and destroying the cord. This version is just as good as the original, if not better. We've discovered that you don't need to get as close to the original as you might think. I recommend tying the excess cord in a bun and securing it with a zip-lock bag. strip to keep the vacuum from sucking it up! I prefer to wait a few days before submitting my reviews because we like to use a product for a while before giving it a fair rating. We've had no problems with it in over a year of use. I would definitely recommend this unit as a replacement if your original is destroyed, and for the price, you could even buy it ahead of time just to have it on standby in case you have a vacuum-related emergency. an emergency of this nature!.

The range is sensitive, but the range is limited
4/5

This sensor bar was purchased to replace a broken OEM Wii sensor bar that occurred when our television fell off the entertainment center. There were no used or refurbished OEM sensors available at Gamestop. I decided to buy it because it had good reviews and was significantly less expensive than a used or refurbished OEM sensor. br>br>With two exceptions, the sensor is simple to install and is nearly identical to the OEM model. There are some silver/grey highlights on this unit's exterior. It makes the sensor stand out a little more than the OEM sensor, which is solid black. (I think it's cool!) ) Another difference is that this sensor comes with a small plastic stand to help with mounting. The sensor's clearance is increased enough by the stand that nothing beneath it can cause it to malfunction. br>br>This sensor appears to be more sensitive than the original in terms of functionality. Smoother and more precise movements have been made. within a distance of 8 feet The sensor's range isn't as good as it was before. I frequently use the remote control from my desk, which is about 12 feet away. While the sensor detects movement at that distance, it is shaky, unstable, and inaccurate. Given the manufacturer's claim of only an 8-foot range, this is to be expected. They deserve credit for telling it like it is! br>br>Overall, this unit appeals to me greatly. Although I prefer an OEM sensor, you can't go wrong with this one.
